Clean crisp lager with a faint dry hop finish. The bready malts hit up front giving way to a dry bitter finish. My only complaint would be that there's a slight almost dirty taste in the finish with the dry hoppiness.

A clear gold with lots of white head that dissipates quickly. A sharp lager scent of salt and yeast. The taste is nice and sharp up front with a smooth, lingering malt finish. Overall, a slightly above average lager.

Grabbed a 6box of cans..just came out this week again...
Poured into a tall Pilsner glass for a nice and easy 3 finger head....sweet aromas, sweeet tastes, crisp, classic and easliy downable. Over and over again....might be a tad sweeter than expected, or may be what I call an "illusion of sweetness".
This is my favorite by Sierra Nevada so far, but we'll see after I visit their Asheville brauhaus in a few weeks. If you don't like this, you just don't like beer.

From a bottle, pours as clear straw with a frothy quickly dispersing head. Really tight aroma, perhaps of hops. Taste is pretty clear and crisp with balanced bitter hops and sweet malt, some floral and sharp spice notes. Nice carbonation; not watery.

Poured from 12-ounce bottle into a stange (sort of). Golden yellow in color, with a fairly long-lasting white head that leaves quite a bit of sticky lacing. Lots of seemingly endless carbonation. Good depth of aromas and flavors, with bready malts dominating and citrus and spice in the background. Solid mouthfeel, crisp finish, nice bitterness on the finish. Well done, just what you want in a Czech pilsner.

Nice representation of Czech lager. Light golden & clear. Easy drinking, smooth mouth feel. Would go well with food. Slight aftertaste to this non offensive brew.

Look: Clear, golden, light straw color with sizeable head

Smell: Sweet bread malts, cracker, honey, lemon, floral, spice. Profile is very aromatic and speaks to the high quality and attention to detail of Sierra Nevada brews.

Taste/Feel: Bright and lemony at the beginning with a lot of carbonation makes it very inviting and refreshing. Middle is crackery and bubbly with a hint of honey and slight hop bitterness. Finish is dominated by grain, honey, and herbs like a good sweet tea.

Overall: Excellent. Refreshing and actually sessionable with great flavor and aroma and a pretty big honey character. Objectively, it's excellent and I can't find anything wrong with it. There's nothing to complain about. But in relation to other pilsners, it's not like this is some outstanding miracle. The truth is that the Czech pilsner is such a time-honored classic that you've either made an perfection or you've made garbage. Summerfest doesn't stand head and shoulders above the rest, but there's also nothing that I would change about it.

Pours a gold with a good sized white head. Flavor consists of grass, mild citrus, floral notes, low bitterness, and some pleasant sweet malts. Feels great, smooth and creamy. Great refreshing pilsener.

enjoyed this just 18 days after bottling!
-clear, golden color decent white head that dissipates quickly
-slight malt aroma
-crisp, clean taste. little floral. a little citrus, and a faint lingering sweetness
-light with moderate carbonation, refreshing
-I could (and will) drink a lot of these this summer
I've been experiencing IPA overload here lately and this was the perfect antidote
I like this beer ... a lot

Poured a clear, golden yellow with a minimal white head that faded off quickly. Smells of lemon and crackers. Not very aromatic. Taste is lemons, grassy, some cracker, and a bit of a white wine flavor. Feel is light body. Taste fades quickly and cleanly. It's a hot summer day and this goes great with it, would certainly have this again.
