Alrighty here we go.

Appearance: Very cloudy with a thick rich white head. The yellow reminds of oddly enough banana.

Smell: It has a good wheat smell but I do with some more banana smell or spice smell. Smells good just a touch plain.

Taste: I do get a banana taste and a slight spice note backed up by a heathy dose of wheat. The hops are present at the very end and on the after taste.

Mouthfeel: Oddly this is one of the few times so far that I would call a beer creamy. The carbonation is spot on and I enjoy the tiny bubbles.

Drinkability: I think I could drink this on the regular. I will admit that I think this beer would go good with some kind of butterscotch or caramel.

Appearance - Nice large foamy head, gushing carbonation, textbook color and opacity, looks superb.

Smell - Smells very authentic, with all of the banana/fruity aromas of genuine German versions. Quite sweet smelling and with a good moderate strength.

Taste - Quite sweet with a light wheat finish. Very good. Much better than I expected coming off of trying every authentic hefe I could find. Maybe a touch of alcohol in the background that I don't particularly care for, but overall very solid.

Mouthfeel - Appropriately silky with a medium, medium-light thickness that is perfect for this kind of beer.

Drinkability - For all of its strengths, it still lacks some of the background characters that different German hefes have. It nails the basic hefeweizen sweetness and flavor very well, but that flavor is all thats in this beer. Still, this is superbly drinkable and authentic on the whole.

Appearance - A light illuminous straw color with a pillow of head head.

Smell - Yeast, banana

Taste - Starts out very drinkable and turns into ripe banana for a couple seconds until spice and clove characters take over and linger into a buttery finish.

Mouthfeel - Great drinkable texture.

Rated this based on others I have tried of the same style. Very good and crisp for a hefe which aren't my fave. Came in the summer pack I purchased but heard it was an awesome hefe so will probably by the pack again.

On tap at BC's Pizza & Beer

A: Pours very hazy gold with a frothy white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little light lacing. I get the feeling mine was the first pour from the keg and extra hazy/yeasty. There actually was a small cone of yeast in the bottom of my glass as I finished my pint, but I'm not complaining.

S: Fruity, some spice, yeasty, wheat malt, and a little banana bread.

T: Fruity, actually almost plum like flavor, yeasty, clove spice, wheat malt, jut a hint of sweetness, and some banana on the finish.

M: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Not typically a go to style for me, but this was pretty refreshing.

A- pours out a rich, but light gold. Slightly darker than I expected; but appealing

S- classic hefe aroma: citrus, tang, all there

T- classic hefe taste, too; not the best hefe, but a solid one

M- ever so slightly heavy for a hefeweizen

D- quite sessionable; not hoppy or overly carbonated

Overall, a good solid hefe. I'd happily drink if offered, but there are several German brews I'd prefer.

12 oz bottle picked up in Buffalo.

Pours a cloudy dark golden, almost orange throughout, very thick slightly off white head forms, slowly settles down to a thick ring around the glass, good lacing. Smell is nice, very nice banana notes, very fresh and fruity, pineapple, tropical, wheat, sugary sweetness, yeast, a bit spicy, some cloves but tending towards banana. Taste is similar, lots of banana and tropical fruit, sweet middle, caramel and honey, biscuits, corn syrup, more banana, wheat and a bit yeasty, pretty sweet finish, more banana and tropical fruit juice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Maybe a bit heavy but a nice weiss.

A-Pours a hazy gold with a nice size head that faded and left little lacing.

S-Wheat, sugar, citrus and some spice.

T-A nice maltiness, fruity, spice and a little sweet.

M-Light, crisp, somewhat harsh carb bite.

D-Very drinkable.

I find that SN doesn't do anything badly. All their beers are admirable and this is no exception. Definitely worth a try.

Poured into a weizen glass

Expired one day prior to consumption.

This weissbier poured a hazy straw-yellow. Always a welcome sight to those looking for a wheat beer.

The mouthfeel was light and gentle compared to weissbier with a higher alcohol content.

The aroma was full of clove, wheat, and phenols.

Taste was superb. Clove, banana, and a spicy tingle was throughout the whole brew. As it warmed it continued to be a good compainion. In truth, this beer is a solid hefeweizen. The only thing lacking was the sharpness some other hefeweizens tend to have.

Per the instructions on the bottle, I poured 2/3 swirled and then poured the rest into a pint glass.

A - Very cloudy golden orange body and bright white foamy top.

S - Banana and spice up front with yeast/bread in the back. Sweeter than I thought it would smell.

T - Banana bubblegum flavors make me wonder why I haven't had a hefe in so long... Solid wheat backbone and dry yeast finish. As it warmed, I noticed more apple flavors.

M - Lighter than it looks and with good carbonation.

D - Very high. Moderate ABV and you could serve with anything...
