A: Pours a brilliantly clear golden/yellow color. A dense white head forms with good retention and lace left down the glass. This is a looker, as I like to say.
S: A lemon zest and peppery spice up front. The spicy character is great, with a bit of doughy malts mingling in as well.
T: Like the nose, the lemon zesty, spicy character is very distinct. A touch grassy, which is just enough hop character to be noticeable. Doughy, baked sourdough bread and light honey in the mix. It does finish a touch sweet for my tastes. Just a bit more bitterness would put this over the top.
M/O: A light body that is crisp at first. As this breaths, it becomes ultra smooth. An incredibly clean finish as well. This is so easy to drink, downed in big gulps, again, as I like to say.
Less is more here, as it is subtle, but at the same time I really enjoy that spicy hop character up front. Again, if you amped up the bitterness just a tad, this would be on another level. Small gripes, and as is, just a really well made Pilsner. I have only seen this on tap around me, but hoping this can be a regular purchase going forward.

040826. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Crystal clear gold with 2-3 finger foamy white head with below-average retention but some spare scraps of lacing.
S: Lightly bready pils malt and orange and lemon citrus noble hops aromas
T: Flavor echoes the aroma profile with delicious bready slightly toasty pils maltiness with lightly herbal noble hop flavor accented by lemon and orange. Medium bitterness.
M: Light bodied with high carbonation and crisp, dry finish.
O: Not surprisingly, and excellently executed German pils by SN.

This tasted like Corona to me. When I poured it, there was zero head. I'll stick with my go-to here in Oregon: Pfriem.

Appearance - pale straw coloured body with tan head
Smell - floral, grassy, hint of citrus,
Taste - cracker, biscuit, grass, lemon rind
Mouthfeel - medium.bodied, medium plus carbonation, citrus upfront, bready and grassy in the finish
Overall - on its own, this is a decent beer, I'm just not convinced that this is my favourite iteration of a pilsner. Drinks more like an IPL light, I'm looking for something truer to style. Having said that, lager lovers should give this a run and see what they think. This package size needs to go the way of the dinosaur. Who really wants to only drink 8.4 oz of lager?
Price Point - $11.99 8 pack 8.4 oz cans

Appearance: Pours a light yellow, completely clear color with a strong white head. SRM of 4-5. (3.75)
Aroma: Aromas of lemon spritzers and floral notes upfront. Some pale malt, cracker, grains. (3.75)
Flavor: Flavor follows with more lemon and floral notes. Some soapy floral notes with that signature Sierra Nevada pine soap and floral yeast flavor. Clean grains on the finish. (4.00)
Feel: Lighter bodied, appropriate carbonation. Clean, dry finish. (4.00)
Compared to Pilsner Urquell 4/26: Pours lighter. More lemon spritzer, floral notes. Less buttery diacetyl.
Overall: Listed as a Czech Pils on BeerAdvocate. My first try at this. Pours night. Right up front with those hoppy lemon spritzer aromas. Same on the flavor with the signature Sierra Nevada soapy and floral yeast flavor. Clean and dry. Not sure if Sierra Nevada Pils should be listed as a Czech Pils, but nevertheless I was hoping for a more authentic and better Euro Pils here. (Rating: 3.88)

Pours a slightly chill hazed straw/gold color with one thumb of pearl colored head. Nice head retention & lacing
S: Bready, grassy with perfumy hops
T: Grassy, some lemons, crackery notes & dryness up front. Soapy hops surface as this beer warms up, breadyness, lemons & floral notes once warmer. Finishes a bit dry with grassy bitterness & slight melon & bready sweetness
MF: Medium body, soft carbonation, pretty good balance
Easy to drink, flavors & nose don't pop enough for greatness, expected more. Of all the beers these guys could put in half pint cans...
