Glad I picked this up, and even more glad that it aged so nicely as I held onto it for 3+ years. Beautiful copper/amber color, sweet/tart Granny Smith apple aroma from the opened bottle and in the glass, lots of cider-y/apple character, plus notes of pie crust, hay and apricot-like earthiness and tartness. Less funk than expected, but in place of the funk, some of the perceived booze-and-yeast-generated heat that you get from in BSPA's like Delirius Tremens or Tripel Karmaliet, but with a much drier finish than those. Lower carbonation than I'd expected, and not much head retention in the second and third pours from the bottle. In all, a lovely beer. Patience rewarded.

Pours a lovely, hazy, bubbly golden amber with a fairly thick pale golden-tan head that quickly vanishes. Aroma is strong and fruity, more like a cider than an ale, but has a malty undertone. Malty flavor has a firm fruity note, mainly apple with hints of pear and banana, and just a hint of horehound. Texture is very fizzy, though a bit on the watery side. Finish is none too strong. Overall, not too shabby. Can you tame this one?

Pours a hazy orange with a very bubbly head and lots of carbonation.
The aroma is funky farmhouse with peach, citrus ans spice notes.
Taste follows with the nice funk, a bit of caramel sweetness, sweet fruit and a bit of buttery flavor in the middle with a dry, slightly peppery finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, dry and bubbly.
Aged nicely. Tasty and refreshing.

My first Brett - fermented beer (I think). Quite interesting in aroma (hints of the typical hay, wet blanket, etc), and super dry finish. Curious enough to keep you guessing. I really enjoyed this first foray into wild ales.

Murky golden ale with soapy head. Funky, sour tart nose. Grassy, saw dust, bret funk, tart notes but overall under whelming flavors and taste a little watered down. Overall disappointing offering from two great breweries.

Not bad, not great, definitely not on the same level as Orval or Rayon Vert for me. I'm happy to have had the chance to try it.
