Enjoyed at the Pro Pig in Waterbury, VT. Reviewed from notes.

A- Pours an oily black with a nice quarter inch mocha head that leaves sticky side lacing as it slowly fades away. Pretty solid.

S - Aroma is the only bit of a led down for me. Nice aromas of chocolate, light malts. Don't get much vanilla or anything else. One noted chocolate.

T - Taste is much better. Very creamy chocolate..almost like a chocolate milk level of creamy taste. Light chocolate malts, faint faint earthy hops and super light smoke. Very light hint of alcohol as well.

M - Mouthfeel is nicely creamy with a good thick body. Very light alcohol.

O - Overall a solid beer but I would have liked to see it showcase a bit more chocolate.

At The Prohobition Pig

A-dark brown black color with a decent tan head and some lacing

S-dark roasted malt, chocolate, slight sweet aromas of molasses, coffee

T-chocolate, dark roasted malt, hints of coffee and molasses, mild bitter hoppy finish, alcohol is well-integrated and not very noticeable

F-medium body with light to moderate carbonation, smooth and creamy

O- a nice imperial oatmeal stout, has good flavor and balance, glad I had a chance to try this

Tap at Pro Pig in waterbury.

Creamy dark almost 1 finger rich creamy head, fades semi slowly with some decent lacing, pitch black beer.

Nose dark malts galore, tons of chocolate, cocoa, dark choc, bakers, even a creamy milk choc, maybe light oats or even lactose creamy. Caramel, light vanilla, hint coffee maybe toffee like.

Taste super creamy, thick rich, chocolate galore, cocoa, creamy milk choc, bakers choc, dark choc, caramel, condensed milk, powdered cocoa, chewy oats, etc. Light earthy hops, hint coffee, faint hint of booze. Finish is lush creamy sticky dark malts, lots more cocoa, fairly bitter from light earthy hops and slightly roasty like malts.

Mouth is thicker bodied, creamy, nice carb, creamy and lush.

Overall quite nice, tons of chocolate and cocoa but smooth and drinkable. Nice light bitterness, hint if booze is nice too. I would like to see this aged in bourbon barrels!
