Thanks to dogdoc for sending this particular bottle! Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 750 mL bottle into a Brooklyn Brewery tulip glass.

A: Very, very dark brown and opaque. A thin tan head forms and dissipates almost immediately. A small amount of visible carbonation at first, but this also fades quickly.

S: Nice here – bourbon, coffee, and maple sweetness. Roasted malts, bitter cacao, and vanilla-forward oak. Just a touch of leather, dark fruit and toffee.

T: Bourbon and oak tannins up front. Chocolate (more of a sweetened very dark chocolate) and some maple syrup. Roasted malts and coffee (thought less than the nose suggested). The vanilla shows up near the end with more chocolate flavors. Roast bitterness marries with mild hop presence in the hang, which really helps this to not be sickly sweet. Mild lingering bourbon flavors as well.
NOTE: The vanilla flavors definitely increase as the beer warms during the drink.

M: Average carbonation for style, but the mouthfeel is a little on the thin side. While there’s certainly a hefty alcohol presence, it still seems well-integrated in the flavors. This is welcome – nice bourbon flavors without tons of ethanol heat.

O: This was enjoyable for sure. Not an all-time great stout, but awfully good.

A: Pours a thick inky black with a thin and fizzy light tan head that faded into nothingness.
S: Smells of boozy bourbon with hints of chocolate syrup, vanilla and maple. There's a pleasant roasted character as well.
T: Huge potent blast of boozy bourbon hits upfront followed by rich notes of chocolate and sweet maple. The finish is full of an extraordinary amount of vanilla that reminds me of roasted marshmallows. The coffee is right there as well with a black bitterness that lingers with a kiss of bourbon into the aftertaste. Bourbon still has tons of flavor, but the alcohol is completely hidden as there is no heat to this beer. Flavors overall are full of toasted marshmallow and bourbon with a splash of coffee and a kiss of sweet maple.
M: Thick and heavy mouthfeel, chewy carbonation, but the bourbon barrel and adjuncts pack a pretty bitter punch that boarders on astringent. This is the third bottle of this I've had since release, and I remember this beer's mouthfeel being a bit more buttery than bitter.
O: The flavor combination is awesome, but this beer was rough around the edges. Very rich and complex flavors, but I thought I remember the mouthfeel being smoother.

Very close to sexual chocolate...and that is a compliment as to the standard of this style beer. ...the feel may be better.

More black than brown, exceptionally well carbonated yielding close to an inch of beige head that was impressive especially for a barrel aged beer. Aroma didn't yield a ton of barrel or maple character. More maple than bourbon.

Alcohol noticeably subdued, maple flavors done well. Some coffee and chocolate, bourbon, oak in the mouthfeel. Really did well at a mix of flavors without too much domination from the maple.

Mostly black pour, gives off a dark beige head to it, heavy and thick. Aroma was heavy on the maple, lighter on the bourbon and coffee. Hid alcohol. Plenty of roast and maple in the nose.

In the taste, the bourbon and coffee still remain in the background compared to the sweetness of the maple presence. Drinks easily, still hides the abv. Chocolate in there more than you would think. Coffee came out a little as it warmed. Heft, body and carbonation are all dialed in.
