Blends both qualities of an amber and an IPA very well. Features the great toasted malt features as well as a nice grapefruit hop punch and resinous bitterness that works well with the biscuit malt backbone. Crisp. Perfect brew for the transition to fall. Cheers!

Aroma- Has a big citrus aroma with caramel and pine tossed in.
Appearance- Pours a dark yellow to copper color with a red tint has a small white head.
Taste- Has that "SN" hop explosion! Great flavor.
Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Has a dry finish with a nice hop bite aftertaste.
Overall- A real good IPA, i would drink this again and often.

12oz cold bottle onto tulip

Appearance - Super dark, ruby red with a brown tinge, fairly clear, really nice 2 finger head and retention with great lacing

Aroma - Complex, starts with a piney, citrusy, spicy hop showing. Moves into slightly sweet caramel, toasty malts.

Feel/Taste - Medium body with gentle yet ample carb makes for a smooth brew. Taste is very similar to nose with pine, citrus, and spicy hops, maybe a touch of tropical fruit with a slight bitter punch. Hops give way to the malts mid-palate with plenty of toasty, biscuity, and sweet caramel malts. The hop and malts battle in the dry finish with the malts coming out the victor in flavor, but the hops send away with a moderate punch of dry and lingering bitterness.

Overall - This is an extremely well executed, complex beer, which essentially equates to a very hoppy amber ale. Sierra Nevada definitely flexes their brewing prowess with this one; the hop and malt bill truly jive seamlessly and deliciously.
