Clear, green color with greenish head. Aroma is bright and herbal with a lactic tang. Taste starts sweet and sour with a herbal/fruity note, like some green apple hard candy. Light body, smooth mouthfeel, well carbonated. It's not really a true to style berliner weisse but overall it's not bad. The flavoring does not bother me at all, it's not overly sweet, still leans more towards the sour side. Really refreshing and easy drinking.

Waldmeister is one of those uniquely German flavors, and requires some getting used to. Pours hazy green with a thin white/greenish head. Sweet, soapy aroma. Taste is sour apple Jolly Rancher and dish soap. Not in a bad way, but it requires some adjustment....

330 ml bottle trucked all the way from southern Germany by my buddy Moritz! I poured this one into my perfect pint.

Appearance: Well, not even on St. Patrick's day have my beers been this green. A clear green liquid is in my beer glass with a white fizzy head that it self has a green tint.

Smell: Mainly syrupy sweetness with hints of green apple and herbs. No grains, hops, or yeast.

Taste: The sweetness of the woodruff syrup overtakes the beer. A touch of sour comes in on the finish. Not a bad taste, just not like any other beer you have ever had.

Mouthfeel: Fine, probably a little thicker than other 3.0 ABV beers. The carbonation is strong and fizzy.

Overall: Glad to have tried it for its "unique" nature. I did quite like the original, and I need to hunt down some more Berliner Weissbier.

A: cloudy green color nice but very different to regular weisse, head is not as big as in regular wheat beers, color is white and a little layer remains on too of the beer.

S: Aroma is a little odd, nothing in this one is as the classical weisse beer, it has some sugar something like vanilla and citrus.

T: Flavor is nice, with a clear touch of citrus and the back of wheat

M: sensation is really nice, refreshing with a sour touch and citrus flavor.

Had this beer at Lindenbrau at the Sony Center in Berlin. Served from the bottle, cool in a hefe glass with a straw.

A-dark watermelon rind color, almost glows

S-herb, lemon, aftershave lotion

T-sweet and sour, weird aftershave taste

M-light

D-Certainly different in every way. This syrup added is a bit offputting. Like drinking cheap cologne

Light green with a very foamy head, light mouthfeel with light carbonation, and tastes like woodruff syrup, which means that it's both very sweet and very herbal/sour. It's good for what it is--refreshing on a hot day, an exciting alternative to a soda, but not something you would drink if you weren't in Berlin.

Poured into a goblet.

A- Light green, foamy head, that quickly dissolved.

S- Very weak, kinda artificial smell.

T- Refreshing, no dryness at all. Actually doen't taste very "beerish" but awesome on a hot sommer day.

M- A bit to sweet for me personally.

D- If it only wasn't so damn sweet. This really limits the drinkability.

Pours green with light green head that slowly dissipates, patchy lacing. Aroma is mild woodruff syrup, sugary, but not sweet.

Taste is sourish woodruff syrup. Rather pleasant mix of sweet and sour, but certainly with very artificial and industrial taste. Mouthfeel is light with light carbonation.

Overall, it seems to be the best "Weisse Mit Schuß", but I always would prefer pure Weisse instead.
