Trusting its label, I assumed this to be a RIS and served it in a snifter accordingly.
It pours black as night with a one-finger light brown head with low retention. It leaves a very thin ecru layer of foam.
Impressive lacing, it sticks permanently and so the glass starts looking as a canvas in progress.

Very assertive bouquet.
Massive coffee, massive cacao nibs, subdued roastiness, slight hint of brown sugar. You also get some spicy/earthy hoppiness if you swirl energetically.
Very nice.

The flavor follows the nose, with the difference being that the roastiness is more assertive and it almost becomes charcoal. You get the feeling that a lot of the bitterness is coming from the roastiness.
Assertive coffee and cacao nibs again. Slight booze.
The subdued, almost unnoticeable brown sugar sweetness cedes protagonism, making this a clearly dry beer.
Long and dry finish, light body, slightly smooth.

This is clearly an IDS, not a RIS, but the bouquet was amazing and I might have to thank the snifter for some of that.
Amazing brew, and it is easily available and cheap too.
Go for it.

Great beer. It has chocolate notes with a light touch of cacao

Black color with a one finger head with short retention.
Aroma with predominant notes of creamy chocolate and coffee beans. Hints of licorice.
Flavor with notes of dark chocolate, spices, roasted coffee beans, charred wood, prunes, mild pine and earthy and herbal hops. Dry aftertaste with a lasting residual coffee note.
Light to medium body with good carbonation.
Perfectly balanced great Stout from Mexico. Not overly sweet, with all the right notes and a good depth of flavors. It is well-crafted and worth trying. Ps. not sure why they call this Imperial.

Under Chocolate taste, between cacao and coffee. It's soft for dark beers

Label says "imperial stout" and this is clearly not an Imperial Stout, maybe a dry stout, very nice beer but far from the imperial style. Looks, smells and tastes right for a dry stout. Cheers!
