On tap at Michigan Brewers Guild Summer Fest

Pours a beige head. Color is a burnt orange with a gold hue to it.

Aroma: Kind of sour. It has a big oak flavor with a bit of cherries and a lot of earthy spices. Very unique.

Taste: This is definitely sour. Reminds me of a saison meeting a flanders red. It has a lemon zest and yeast flavors with grassy hops meeting the oak and the sour cherries. It also has a touch of vinegar. Unique.

Mouthfeel: Dry and a bit tart. Medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Ends with a vinegar flavor.

Overall, I have never had a saison like this. It doesn't have a funky barnhouse flavor of a saison, but it does have a sour flavor. It was definitely an interesting beer to try. I had to have two servings of this one.
