Dec. 2012: 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.4%. Amber colour, large off-white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and floral hops. The fairly sweet flavour has notes of crystal malts, balanced by pleasant fruity and slightly spicy hops. Medium bitter finish.

Cerveza rojiza, con una cabeza espumosa burbujeante de buena retención. Cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a malta, lúpulo y caramelo. Sabor amargo, destacando la malta y un poco de frutos secos.

I had this with lunch and it's now 21:13, so this is working from memory. Bad me.
Poured into a chalice in Montone, Umbria at the osteria in the little main square. Deep amber/copper color with a creamy khaki head, nice lacing in the glass. Smell of toasty malt, pretty dank hops (for Italy!), and some fruity stuff going on underneath. Taste closely follwing the smell (others have done a better descriptive job here). Nice balance feel-wise, creamy texture with enough carbonation to create a nice balance. Aftertaste fades to hoppy bitterness in a good way.
This paired very nicely with plate of porcini agnolotti in ragu' di cinghiale. I'd never heard of the makers, but bravo to them, this is a very nice quaff. You never know with Italian micros, it can be a crapshoot.

A-Hazy orange with a thick off white head that does not want to leave and is cloudy and luscious
S-I get a mineral type of aroma that is soapy and not very pleasant. But there is also a nice dank earthy herbal layer below...
M-Medium velvet mouthfeel with low carbonation that is really wonderful
T-Very subtle sweetness upfront with a smooth bitterness that does not overpower and remains on the palate and around the gums
O-This is a wonderful rendition of an American classic, the Italian air doesn't hurt it either!

330ml bottle poured into a teku glass.
Hazy deep copper amber color as a showcase which is considered as darker than typical Pale Ale, the pour forms up very thick fluffy off-white head that stands with very good retention before slowly subsiding to an eternal layer of foamy crown and leaving lots of lacing patch and spot along the glass-side.
The fruity hop aroma of citrus, lime, melon, mango, as well as spice and some piney resin lead forwards while malt is also there with its bread and caramel quality.
Intense hoppy goodness in the taste which is a bit far beyond Pale Ale boundary, fruitiness can be perceived with the flavors of citrus, lime, and mango as well as some spice and moderate piney resin yet modest bitterness. Malt works along well in the background with its breadiness, sweetness, and caramel. It is tasty and delicious.
Medium body with some full and bold touch through the palate, mouthfeel is quite smooth with moderate lively crisp carbonation, refreshing in feeling with a dry finish.
The Italian has nailed it again with this good Pale Ale. In fact, I think it is something between IPA and APA.
