I was at Deaconess hospital in Cincinnati taking classes. During lunch break I was walking in the neighborhood and saw the sign. The sign says over 250 imported beers in store. Ok, I will bite. Upon entering the store I was greeted with an apathetic cashier. I went further into the store to investigate. Low and behold, I didnt find 250 imported beers. I found a pretty solid selection of micro/ imports in the coolers. They had several good belgian ales La Chouffe, Chimay and such. They had some ok german imports Schneiderweiss. The store had the usual BMC; however it has a substantial amount of micro beers. There where some Stones Arrogant Bastards, Weyerbacher seasonal offerings, Avery, Lawsons Creek, DFH. This is not a bad stop if you happen to be in the area and want some beers. This is by no means a premium beer stop. If you are looking for more than just a quick beer fix you should go to Keller IGA up the street. The staff was pretty much uninterested and didnt really know much about beer.

Hidden in Clifton Heights, next to the University of Cincinnati is another one of Cincinnati's hidden gems of a beer store.
Upon first walking in, the place seems like a hole in the wall with uneven floor tile and poor lighting. The attendant at the counter seems like he really doesn't care that you're even there or know anything about what he's selling.
However, in the back-room and in the coolers is a surprisingly well sampled craft beer selection. A good cross section of Belgians and imports, as well as some bigger named crafts like Stone, Sierra Nevada, ect.
Decent pricing and a really nice find for students without a car.
