About 50 drafts plus 3 casks. A lot of New England represented in the tap list but also Abita, 21st Amendment, Bear Republic, Sixpoint. Pretty good bottle selection too including Victory and some Belgian stuff. Beer menu is thorough although it doesn't include pricing. All craft drafts I've had there have been $6.

The big bar probably seats around 20 plus there are booths around the outside of the room. A lot of big TVs in the bar. There are also 1-2 dining rooms in the back. The vibe in those rooms is more of a family restaurant; in the bar it's plenty of 20somethings and post-work outings.

Menu is big and reasonably priced. Pizza and appetizers are really good. Bill for two drafts, a small pizza and a sandwich was $26 before tip.

Had the pleasure of eating there right after a WPI football game, the place was hopping. Excellent friendly staff, we had a great waitress.
Huge beer list tap and packaged. Great food selection, for how busy the place was our meals were perfect. Can't wait to go back on a non football day.

This place is just awesome. Great tap list, food that everyone can agree on, and really fair prices. Their tap list isn't as good as Armsby's...that said, my wife doesn't have a hard time finding a beer she'll like here, which is an issue at Armsby on occasion. Granted, that's more of an issue with her than it is with Armsby haha.

I've literally never heard of anyone disappointed by this place. Go and you won't be disappointed. Also the fried Brussels sprouts are bomb,

Went here for the first time with my family. The restaurant has a parking lot that is manned by a worker. The lot is decently large, but when we went around 4:30 PM, the lot was pretty full. When you enter the restaurant, there is a mostly booth dining area straight ahead of you, a bar area around the corner from the booths, but more tables to one's right when you enter. Even with the seating and the pre-5PM dinner, this place was packed and loud. Definitely had a neighborhood bar vibe that was still family friendly.

Service was quite excellent and attentive, especially with our child that was a bit unruly that evening. Our appetizer and entrees came promptly even though the restaurant was intensely busy. The food is great across the board. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is great. The menu includes a wide range of sandwiches, burgers, pasta dishes, and pizzas. Everything I had was great.

For beers, the menu was quite good as well. The restaurant was introducing Sloop Brewery to the area, so I had Sloop's Red C drink. After my meal, I had Lost Abbey Angel's Share bourbon aged. When glimpsing at the menu, it seemed the restaurant rotated around some good local and nationwide drinks, both bottled and on tap.

Overall, if I lived in Worcester, this would be a great go-to spot. However, I would warn that it gets crowded and loud quickly, it seems, on the weekend.

A Worcester establishment! Great varied menu where everything is good but Pizza is best. Bar service is really good and wait service is okay. Probably busy on any given night of the week. Parking can be a pain if the back lot is full. Good draft list with rotating rarities along with old standby's. Always a fun time.

sit at the bar if this is important to you, bar staff have a better handle than waitresses, not only on what's there and what it is but why you want to know. all are friendly, overall a friendly big local place with families, nerds. hipsters, cougars everyone under the sun feeling comfortable in a pub setting, big place.
never had a bad pour or bad food
service is friendly and pretty quick, even when busy
they may not have the only cask of some swiss sour lager ever shipped to the US (Armsby would) but they have rotating casks of locals that you get nowhere else, as well as an impressive list of regular and rotating taps that you actually want to try, no matter what your preferred style, and they really don't have to, so it's awesome that they do it as well as they do.
food is solid, a nice mix of basic and slightly adventurous pub food at very reasonable prices

Good food, inexpensive. Can be very noisy. They have a very diverse tap selection. Changes often. Good place to take the family. Something for everyone. The waitstaff is friendly.

This is a regular dinner stop for myself and family.

The Boynton has one of the better tap lists in Worcester. It appears that they change it weekly. The tap list is sorted by style and they identify the location of the brewery as well, which I thought was nice. The restaurant itself is huge and gets quite crowded in the bar area. It's not the quietest place ever either and there are better value for money bars in Worcester, although anyone coming from Boston will think this is a steal.

Popular Worcester dining destination with one of the better craft draft lists aside from Armsby and Dive Bar. The beer list is always diverse and they seem to focus on having a few beers from many different styles to satisfy anyone. I have had many local brews here as well as the occasional seasonal brew from afar, for example FW Parabola. Prices are probably right around or $0.50 lower than an average Armsby draft price. I also think they will do half-pours if that is what you want. I have had several entrees and the pizza a few times here. The food is always fresh and flavorful with a large enough menu that mostly anyone could find something. If not, just fall back on the pizza and it will be satisfying. The place is also huge with plenty of booth seating.

Went here for a friends birthday the other day.

Since they don't accept reservations we had to wait about an hour before a couple of tables opened up for our party of 15. But that was ok, more time for beer.

Tap selection was very good, had lots of breweries including a few locals. Started off with a Wachusett Winter then went to a Back in Black IPA. Also had a good selection of bottles from Chimay to Duvel. Prices were reasonable at the bar. It was very crowded and loud but it was a fun atmosphere, I would come back to watch a game.

Food was also very good. I had a burger along with an Allagash White served in proper glassware with reasonable prices. Menu had a wide range of items from burgers to seafood and the specials looked really good too.

If your in the area and looking for a good brew and meal I would definitely recommend this place.

The B is a staple in this college town. Anybody that goes to school here has had at least one meal at the B.

The beer selection is incredible, they have TONS of beers on tap. If you are trying to go to a bar to sample different beers from the tap then this is definitely the spot to go. The bar gets a little bit crowded but that just speaks to the atmosphere. If you can get there early and grab a booth or a seat at the bar sporting events are great. They have several tv's and always provide a variety of games on sundays.

For the style of food they offer, it is a little bit on the more expensive side. It is kind of weird that being in a college town that they prices wouldn't be cheaper than they are, but it is still a good enough place to grab a bite to eat.

Cheers

I hit this place the other day. Im always at the other 2 notoriously great beer bars in Worcester and often overlook this place.

This is a good bet for good beer in a sports bar atmosphere in Worcester. Always crowded, there is a huge square bar surrounded by booths with about 15 plasma TVs!! A great place to watch a game.

The food is always good, mostly pub style with fried apps, steaks, burgers and pizza. Also they have gluten free pizzas which is nice, and the food prices are quite reasonable as well.

The beer list is constantly growing as of late. I believe there are 40 draft lines with notables such as Dogfish, Bear Republic, Founders, Unibroue, Allagash and some usual suspects like Blue Moon, Wachusett, Hoegaarden etc. The bottle list is also good with maybe 50 or more selections. Some examples are all 3 Chimays, Duvel, 2 Deleriums, and Bernardus Triple. My 2 biggest complaints about this place is the ice ice ice cold serving temps, as well as glassware problems. (i.e. frozen glass for Hop Rod Rye and a Bernardus Triple served with NO glass) Although annoying, these problems are minor and easily fixable. Also on this last visit I noticed they have a more up to date draft and bottle list.

Overall I think this is a good bet if in the Worcester area.

Made plans for dinner here on Saturday night based off a friends suggestion. Placed was PACKED, so needless to say I was a little ticked off that no reservations had been made. Hostess said it would be 45-1 hour before a table was ready. I made my way over to the bar and almost jumped for joy when I saw the tap lineup this place had.

Immediately saw a Racer 5 tap and ordered one up...great value at $5 a pint seeing that I'm used to paying $9 for a Bud Light in Boston.

Asked the bar tender for a list of what was on tap since the handles were too far to read. Unfortunately the list wasn't exactly up to date as I spotted a Stone Smoked Porter tap that was nowhere to be seen on the menu. Asked the bartender for a suggestion after I finished the Racer 5. I asked for something "hoppy" and he immediately goes "...we got this new stuff in, Bear Republic Hot Rod Rye." AWESOME. Only gripe here is that the beer was not on the menu which probably prevents a lot of people from trying it out.

Waitress suggested I try a Wachusett Green Monsta with dinner, which was delicious! Food was outstanding in both taste and value. Spinach and artichoke dip appetizer comes with awesome homemade pita chips. Meals ordered were pepper and artichoke heart pizza, vegtable pocket, and prime rib. I having tasted all 3 can say they were great. Bill for 4 came to $82 with 4 glasses of house White Zin/Merlot...2 bluemoons and 1 Green Monsta. NOT BAD.

Would frequent this place if it wasn't so far from home (South Boston). I could see myself sitting here on a Sunday during NFL season sampling everything on tap. They do offer a sampler with any 4 beers of your choices for $7.99. Stop by if you are in the area~!
