Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a hazy, straw-gold coloring, with a ton of carbonation throughout, and a tall, fluffy, dense, white head. Nose of toasted grains, lemon grass, pepper spice, evergreen, and subtle resin. Flavors are very herbal forward, with a blast of basil, oregano, pepper, pine tassel, pine pitch, toasted grains, and tangy, tart lemon. This one is a bit unbalanced. Light, frothy, effervesced body, with a heavily spiced and tart aftertaste. The finish has a tangy and tart linger, and comes off slightly astringent.

On draft at The Lark, East Northport, NY.

Poured a brassy hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a vibrant herbal hop and light grainy malt.

The taste consisted of a full herbal hop spice with a touch of pine. There was a light thin graininess that was easily overshadowed by the lingering hop spice.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style.

Overall a very tasty herbal hop driven session IPA.
