Bottle from the brewery store, thanks Todd for helping me procure this brew. Deep golden color with a slight haze and a huge bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Aromas of earth, funk, light fruit, and a hint of grainy malt. The flavor is lightly sweet up front with a faint fruity flavor that tastes like tart cherry. Earthy funky with bits of pepper. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation. The brett is quite mild but it is there. This is still a really nice farmhouse ale.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Golden with a thin white head.

Smell: Light hops and maybe cloves.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth light bodied. Taste of bitter hops, with a hint of citrus and cloves.

Overall: Not very good in my opinion. I would not buy this one again.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of rustic malt notes with some light Brett notes is quite nice. Taste is a great mix of rustic malt with some light Brett notes and some spicy yeast undertones with a dry Brett finale. Body is about average with lots of carbonation. Very well brewed with great level of drinkability.

500ml bottle - $7.50 at Tasty Beverage Company in Asheville, North Carolina.

Appearance: Pours a clear, deep yellow body with an inch or so of whitish foam.

Smell: A little sweetish, a little sweaty with a restrained musty funkiness and subtle array of fruity elements ranging from tropical to orchard-based that grow a little more candyish as it warms.

Taste: A slim, slender hewn-hay, crackery maltiness, just barely cereal sweetish and with one lone drop of vanilla cream. Shades of citrus fruit, apple-flavored taffy and tart berry-melon. Funky albeit restrained. Soft minerality to it, a little floral-scented soap hint (old-lady soap). Soft, fruity, semi-dry finish.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Lightly carbonated.

Overall: Gleaned more complexity that at first I had expected, it was pleasant and refreshing.

A had this on tap and thought it was a fairly straight forward sessionable Brett forward pale. Surprised to not see slightly better reviews and curious if just not holding up well on the bottle.

Hazy golden body with a clean white head that drops away too quick. The nose is great - fruity sweetness, spice, a sweet funk blast. The flavors follow right along with the nose - sweet and spicy with a background maltiness manifested as a popcorn to my palate. Great complexity. Hopefully I can find another release to cellar for a year. I'd like to taste this again as the brett develops.

I enjoyed this on tap at Warwick hotel, served chilled in a pint.

The color is golden with thick haze and large collar of white cream with film of lace left with fine bead and visibly carbonated. The smell is fruity/floral with citrus aroma and light honey-like earthy/melon and herbal aroma with odd yet pleasant smell. The feel is light yet has a nice amount of body with light sweetness and medium carbonation with slight herbal element and light bretty yet gentle earthiness as it finishes with a soft but not out of the ordinary quality very well balanced.

The taste has a nice amount of brett in the initial flavor with gentle yeasty fruit and mild floral accent with slight toasted grain flavor. The mild floral quality and subtle tropical quality is complimentary with slight melon-like more papaya with a mild honey-like subtle nutty taste as it finishes semi-dry. Overall a very decent moderately smooth and enjoyable brett beer with nice complexity for a mid strength -"Daily Brett" indeed this is truly unique and worthy, solid with a softer take on the brett fermented ale.

Poured from a cage/corked bottle, dated 3/10/15 into a pilsner glass.
A - Gold straw color, wonderful clarity, active carbonation supports a lasting thin cap. No lacing at all.
S - Sweet malts, wheat grains, honey and ginger, notes of lemon, battle it out against strong biscuit, and ash. All this driven by a wonderful almost tickling effervescence.
T - Light grains, pilsner malts, some wheat ( I am guessing) That strong biscuit quality from the nose carries right into the palate. Touches of lemongrass. The use of Brett is delicate, keeping the experience crisp.
M - Sharp to begin, the middle is ashen dry, finishing with a linger on the palate that keeps that lemongrass and honey drop candy quality. The body is surprisingly Lager like with crispness and delicate touches.
O - Billed as a pale ale with Brett, no doubt about that. Lager like in texture, very little hop presence and super crisp. These aspects all make the offering quite enjoyable.
Cheers

A: Pours a clear pale straw yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint lemon yellow highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy white head that quickly reduces to a mottled medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of earthy funkiness with light aromas of pale malts, grainy malts, peppery yeast, and light fruits (pear and apple).

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of pale + grainy malts with a light amount of honey-like sweetness. That is followed by a light flavor of light fruits (apple and pear) and a moderate amount of peppery yeast. Finally there is a moderate flavor of funky earthiness from the brett. Minimal amounts of bitterness in the finish but a light amount of tartness is present.

M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with heavy amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.

O: Very enjoyable and easy to drink with a light amount of brett flavor/aroma but without being overpowering - a nice introduction to brett beers for people with little experience. Definitely would have this one again.
