Made for taking a break from the Sturm und Drang of modern life, this elegantly refreshing pilsner was created with German malt balanced with the spicy tang of Czech Saaz hops. The bread and biscuit flavors of the grain are topped with the floral character of the Noble hop, which may just get you to shimmy into your favorite lederhosen, bust into a quick schuhplattler and loudly proclaim, “Das ist Vunderbar!” Prost! 33 IBU (AKA - Short Batch #11)

Served from tap into a shaker. Poured a light golden yellow with a one finger fluffy pure white head. Maintained phenomanol lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, fruit (bananas mostly), and grain. The flavor was of sweet malt, bananas, and spices. It had a light feel on the palate with low-mid carbonation. Overall this one wasn't that bad, nor was it that great. This one did have some nice flavors going on, but they were just too bundled together and didn't stand out on their own. This one is worth trying at least once, but that would be about it (for me at least).

Has more of a Czech pilsner character to me. Very flavorful but wasnt a huge fan of the hop bite or the scratchy-ness on the way down.

Poured into a narrow pilsner pint glass: color is straw, slight chill haze, bright white head presents 1 finger thick and lingers well.
Smell is light bread, crackers, pilsner malt, herbal and grassy hops, hint of lemon rind.
Taste is similar with pleasant pilsner malt flavors, cracker, light biscuit, hint of bread, light honey like sweetness, then hops present with grass, light herbal notes, hint of lemon rind, maybe some intermingled fruitiness between the malt and hops. As it warms some softness presents in its flavor, light creamy like flavor.
Mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, crisp, light malt sweetness, then drying carbonation/bitterness.
Overall a good pils, a touch sweet and sharp in its carbonation, but pleasant malt/hop flavor/aroma.

3/29/20....pours hazy malted gold, thick, with hefty fluffy white foam. Very light pils/grain nose. Subdued. Smooth mellow flavor. Pilsy malt. light bitter, almost like a helles. Fast finish. Nice summer beer.

Picked-up as part of a mixed twelve-pack at Kappy's in Norwell for about fifteen dollars. Have had many brews from these guys before. Not my favorite style, but this is good.

12 oz Can poured into glass
Look - neon yellow color, small foam head and some lacing
Smell - creamy, herbal hops, mountain water.
Taste - lemon zest, spices ( rye, pepper, grass). Carbonation is medium-high and body is medium. It's well carbonated but also has a smooth finish. Quite bitter as any good pilsner is.
Overall, a tasty pilsner. Not quite as bitter as some European Pilsners but it has lots of grassy/earthy hop flavor. Decent beer when in the mood, not my preferred style but for what it is, it's above average. Grade is a B+

L: hazy gold with a loose white head that dissolves to a film
S: citrus saltines
T: like bitter/tart hoppy crackers
F: moderate carbonation with a slightly bitter aftertaste
O: you'll like this beer if you're a fan of American style (almost IPL) or north German pilsners. Give it a pass if you're looking for Bavarian/Czech pilsners

Canned 11/01/18. Wish it were more fresh, but it’s still delicious. Has everything you look for in a Pilsner, with a tasty and cereal grain malt bill with a hint of fruity and grassy hops in the finish. Seems like a reliable source for future 4-pack purchases!
