At first glance DeCicco's appears to be your average sort of high end somewhat Italian-themed supermarket of the sort quite common in Westchester. Head to the back right to find the beer. The beer is tightly and efficiently packed into a set of cold shelves and some of the surrounding counters. There's also a cold room in back where most of the major-name-brand stuff is.

I don't know how they do it, but if you're looking for high-end specialty beer, including special releases and hidden gems from just about every brewery you can think of that has any sort of distribution whatsoever in greater NYC - domestic and import - they probably have it.

There's also six or seven beers on tap, ranging from simple locals to things like Nemesis. No samples - you have to know what you want. Also, depending on when you go you may have a hard time finding someone to actually pour the beer. Saturday afternoon is a pretty dependable time, in my experience.

The tradeoff is that because of limited space, they don't offer, say, random mix twelve-packs from 20 different breweries like you'd find at a larger/dedicated store. For those you may have to go elsewhere.

They also of course have their own house beer, brewed by Captain Lawrence, which is not available anywhere else.

Prices are higher than you see elsewhere.

This is one of the earlier DeCicco's stores but still great! They recently expanded the beer selection and added Crowlers along with Growlers. Nick is the beer guy there and does a great job. Always worth a visit when in the area.

V: They live up to their NY location; there are a lot of items packed in a relatively little store here.

Q: They offer top-notch beers here.

S: They have a dedicated staff member for their beer section (which includes a growler station), who isn't pushy and can be helpful in making selections and will talk to you about beer as much or as little as you want.

S: The selection is second to none.

Oh my was this place a joy to find! Huge selection, all refrigerated. The coolers stretched on and they had pretty much everything. Also have a growler bar with 12 taps available, picked a crowler of Hoppy Birthday. I will definitely come back to this place.

The somewhat recent overhaul of the Beer Dept was much needed. Not as vast of a selection as the two flagship stores, but still a great selection. As of late the tasting events have become stellar and unlike what anyone is doing in the area. The Beer Manager here is a great guy with vast knowledge and a great personality. This is my go-to lunch break pick up spot.

The inventory is less expansive and the staff is less helpful than other DeCicco's stores (often times, there is apparently nobody working in the beer dept).

Good customer service and very good selection. Prices were on par with what I've seen at home. This was a nice stop on my way to a business trip to CT.

This store is on par with Pelham and Harrison. Since the renovation they have an even larger beer selection most of which is refrigerated. Making the selection larger then the other two. Their new taps are in a much more convenient location.

As with all the DeCiccos the pricing is on the low side for the area. Just recently I was able to get Bomb and Xmas Bomb for 8.99 and 9.99, respectively.

The staff is friendly and knowledgable. As willing to order a case of whatever you are looking for as to suggest a good beer for the day.

This place has great selection of beers. During my visit the beer manager was very helpful to me in finding beers on my list and offering suggestions. He was kind enough to find me a speedway stout in the back since the last one in the fridge was taken. I got 5 of my Top 250 from here. Great prices on the beers and majority were served cold. The growler station was a week away from completion which would make it even better.

This is a great store with very knowledgable staff. Brett knows his stuff for sure. They recently renovated and expanded they're layout to a much easier browsable layout. Previous reviewer visited amidst their construction so take that with a grain of salt. On top of all new releases and trustworthy for recommendations

I visited this store many years ago, back when it was considered one of the best beer stores in the NY area. It’s a different story now… I stopped by after checking out the new DeCicco’s in Armonk, and what a difference. Under construction now, the Ardley store is comparatively smaller.

They have a couple of coolers surrounding the cheese section, with all the big American craft brands sold in packs and bombers. I spotted some cool stuff such as Mikkeller Black and Black Hole, Brewdog Tokio, six different brands of Perennial, fifteen types of Bruery, Super Kitty… I opted for a Dogfish World Wide Stout.

They used to have growlers but I did not see them. While not bad, this store pales in comparison to the new DeCicco’s in Armonk. I will try to revisit after the construction is over to see what’s going on.
