Poured from the can into a wheat ale glass. Best before July 25th 2016.
A real nice mix of body colors. Unfiltered appearance but not horrifically cloudy, with a mix of lemon, to light brown and green hues and shades standing all up through the brew. Just a touch of microfine carbonation coming up, reaching to a bright bleach white head, maybe slightly larger than two fingers tall, and settles to a thin puck. Quite a real nice looking gose, particularly the body color.
Aroma hits real nicely. Soft bready like malts, a faint hint of tart lemon but also some good salinity. Slightly herbal but with some nice simple tart qualities. Malt quality hints even some toasty bakery notes as well, almost smokey strangely. Very nice aroma indeed.
Very nice palate. Mouthfeel is quite thick like for a gose, but also with a fruit punch like feel. Tart lemon qualities have managed to disappear a little in place of some more simple lacto flavors. Beer really excels on a great malt angle. Aftertaste hits with lots of chewy wheat and a big bakery toast white bread flavor. Still some fruit punch almost peach like qualities hit as well, with just a bit of noticeable sweetness.
Real interesting and memorable gose, but quite a bit different. Very enjoyable though.

"Best before 2/16/17"; drank 12/22/16 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE, noisy bright white head; frothy lace.
Mild barnyard funk & salt notes in the nose.
Thin mouthfeel.
Salt & mild lime flavors; water-y margarita vibes.
This was drinkable, but it's a below-average take on the gose style.
