From Bottle at home. I like pumpkin brews in general & like in all my beer choices, like 'me big. Big on the nose & pushy on the palate

This version is quite polite. It has a nice honey color & an invitingly mild aroma. The ginger, cinnamon & allspice are most conspicuous with the ginger taking over as it warms. I'm hard pressed to distinguish any pumpkin per se, but have written of this requirement long ago. Nowadays it seems the spices are the feature.

Which brings me back to the delicateness here. It;s also reflected in the texture.

Overall I like this beer. Something to have with food as opposed to it's bigger 7-8% cousins.

Either my taste buds are broke or there just ain't no pumpkin or spice flavor in this beer. Taste more like an average märzen.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a semi-hazy ruddy burnt orange almost brown color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated to a sustaining cap of a head. No lacing. The aroma starts with sweet pumpkin flesh with mild spices of ginger, cinnamon, and allspice. The flavor brings it all together nicely with a mild bready sweetness balancing nicely. Bready pumpkin flavor is in the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionable smooth feel to it. Carbonation seems to run at a nice pace. Overall, I say this was a very good pumpkin ale that I would have again.

A: Orange brown and clear with an aggressive pour you get a 2 finger head that dies back quickly to a skim coating the top
S: Yeast and nuttiness very little spice in the nose almost nonexistent.
F: soft carbonation that feels almost creamy with a light to medium mouth feel. Smooth
T: Light yeast and grain with just enough hop spice to dry you palate. I can barely taste any pumpkin and I am straining to find the spice profile. It tastes like a generic amber ale.
O: Disappointed no pumpkin or spice sticks out in any sort of way. If you want a pumpkin ale for a domestic only drinker this is the bland one for them. Not offensive in anyway because there isn't much flavor.

Nice light amber brown pumpkin ale with strong spice and light malty notes.

Not the best pumpkin ale. Has more bite than smoothness. The flavor profile of spices is lacking as well. It seems I'm forcing myself to drink the last bit.
