Poured from 12oz can into my Deschutes tulip.

Appearance: rich orange hue with a very light haze and a moderate effervescence. Head pours a finger of frothy ivory foam. Nice!

Smell: light and malty, rather like an English bitter. There is pumpkin here, but also an interesting vegetal aroma. Spicing seems very mild for the style -- maybe just a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg right at the end.

Taste: toasty, and rather a lot like an English bitter. Again, there's a very vegetal-tasting pumpkin element which, while perhaps not off-putting, is a little weird. As in the aroma, the spicing is quite mild. It's OK.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a pretty good creaminess. I like it.

Overall: this is an interesting beer. I feel like the pumpkin is very natural and not overdone, but I also feel like it's not very polished. Worth a try if you're a huge fan of pumpkin beers, but otherwise it's merely an OK quaff.

Poured Punk'n into pint glass.

A - Pours a light brown orangish color with a finger of off white head.

S - The aroma is of allspice, clove and nutmeg.

T - Light pumpkin initially with more clove, allspice and nutmeg . Mid palate getting more clove, and nutmeg with light toasted malts. On the aftertaste smooth pumpkin and spice.

M- Medium mouthfeel medium carbonation.

O - Ho Hum, Good pumpkin but not great.

Poured from a 12oz can into a shaker pint glass. Aggressive pour yielded a good inch high thick head. Clear, orange/gold color- nice looking beer. Aroma is pretty weak with some light pumpkin aroma and a bit of spice. Taste is likewise pretty weak, with a slight taste of pumpkin pie filling and a bit of tartness. Very little malty sweetness and no hoppiness. Mouthfeel was pretty thin. Overall, not the greatest verion of a pumpkin ale out there, probably won't be buying this one again.
