Excellent. Pours a very pale yellow. Strong lime smell. I expected this to be underwhelming but I was mistaken. Smooth pilsner with strong lime and a slight sweet mango finish. Good balance. Very refreshing. Cheers!

Uinta Mango Lime Pilsner has a thick, fizzy, white head, minimal glass lacing, and a hazy, gold-lemon yellow, bubbly appearance. Aroma is of citrus rind and white bread crust. Taste is of acidic citrus, white bread crust, and a tap water undertaste. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Uinta Mango Lime Pilsner finishes drying.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that quickly settled down, leaving just a few specks of bubbles on the surface and a minuscule ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of mangos and limes are present in the smell.
T: The taste initially had lots of flavors of limes but after it warmed up a bit hints of mangos started to become noticeable. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer quite thirst-quenching and refreshing. I really liked the aromas and flavors of limes and the mango added a bit of complexity.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a clear pint glass. It looks a thick, hazy yellow. Slight white lacing on the top. I'll be honest, it smells a little like fruit loops. Very sweet smell. The smell is definitely mango lime, but the taste is lime first and mango second. It doesn't taste any sweeter than the sweetest lime you've ever had. It's a fine lager, but I don't get any pilsner flavors. It finishes very dry, which I like for a fruitier beer. The feel is excellent. It has the perfect, medium/high carbonation for the style. The mouth feel matches well to how it pours. This is a great summer beer I would definitely seek out again.

Best before 7/27/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with some haze to it; fluffy eggshell white head that falls leaving great retention and nice lacing. The aromas are all lime with some nice mango notes in the background. Some malts. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. The lime and mango both really come through. Some coconut in the mix. Hints of cracker. Malts do their thing. There's a touch of sweetness, but nothing crazy or anything to worry about. Low bitterness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice brew. They really deliver on the lime and mango characteristics. It really doesn't drink like a pilsener that much, but it's still really nice for what it is. It's refreshing and fun to drink. I really like it.

Poured into a can-style glass.

Sweet mango fruit and hints of lime citrus dominate both the aroma and taste. The lime adds a really nice zestiness and freshness for the beer. Mouthfeel is light, perfect for warm weather drinking. Overall, an excellent tasting beer if you like mango and lime.

I am CANtinuing my foray into Happy Loads of New (Mainly) Lager Beers Sunday (Week 718), But What Now/Next?!? with another entry for The CANQuest (tm). This may become a regular thing on Sundays …

From the CAN: "Undeniably Craft Unthinkably Drinkable"; "Forget the Map, Pack the Uinta"; "Brewed with Renewable power - wind & solar"; "Pack It In - Pack It Out".

I was excited to Crack! the vent on this one, but I managed to keep myself in check on the Glug. I performed a C-Line Glug which I have found to have maximum effect with minimal effort. This action caused the unbidden formation of two-plus fingers of soapy, rocky, bone-white head that quickly fell to wisps, leaving only a modicum of lacing. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with an oh-so-slight chill haze that may have been due to the internal temperature of my reefer. I will be watching throughout to see if it clarifies. Nose had a minty lime fruitiness. Not really up to spec for the style, but not unpleasant. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, not watery, but not terribly far beyond it. The taste was more prevalent in terms of the lime, which should have had first-billing, but the mango was also quite discernible. Along with these fruity flavors, I was still getting an odd mintiness, like freshly-picked garden mint. It was not at all unpleasant, but it just did not meet the specs for the style. Finish was fruity and cool, semi-dry & quite refreshing. The haze never did clear up, by the way.

A mango blast. . . In my face. Everything great in the lime pilsner plus some.

Taste rating in words: It's a glorious fruit Dodge ball game.

This beer pours a slightly chill hazed yellow with minimal head. The aroma is really fresh and bright, with under ripe mango and lime candy. The flavor is light and beautiful, with just a nice hint of mango and lime juice and peel, with touch of cracker malts. The mouthfeel is light and springy, with very tight, small bubble carbonation. Overall this is a really excellent flavored beer - the base beer in unexceptional, but the flavors are done so skillfully, with such delicacy that the whole is utterly fun.

The mild esters and floral hop nature that's common to traditionally made pilsners lean toward apple and citrus. Pushing that fruity fare into a more straight forward taste leads the brewers at Uinta to add gentle additions of both mango and lime to a well made pilsner for a refreshing, light but characterful session.

Mango Lime Pilsner pours innocently enough with a golden straw color and the haze that's normally associated with kellerbier. Mango and lime stand out immediately to the nose with those gentle lemon, grassy, peppery and floral nuances playing a supportive aromatic role. Light and bready crispness greets the tongue with fresh baking bread, honeysuckle and a hint of simple syrup.

A quick transition to dryness occurs on the middle palate as the lager quickly sheds its scant sweetness and the juicy taste of tropical and citrus additions provide a mild sangria character on the drying beer. Moderate hops bring a spice of lemongrass, lemon pepper, hay and a pleasant parsley-like peppery grassiness that balance the fruit and offset any remaining malt sugars.

Medium light on the palate, the fruit flavors keep the beer seemingly richer on the late palate because of its strong linger into finish and aftertaste. This well made pilsner is a great choice for those who crave the fruitiness of fruit punch but want a drier, less sweet, and lighter version without giving up taste.
