look: 3.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.5

Appearance: Thin head on the pour. Low to moderate active carbonation. Little lacing on the sides of the glass. Light golden color with accents of orange.

Smell: A gummy straw and light malt aroma jumps out of the glass. Moderate tropical hop tones. Pine and resin also come through on the back end. Straw and prairie grass are definitely the most potent aromas.

Taste: A lot of the sugary sweet malt and grassy hop tones come through. The body rides through with some subtle hop tones and a decent malt backbone. A lot of flavor for a brew with 4% abv.

Mouthfeel: Easy drinking, light, sessionable, very enjoyable.

Overall: A nice easy going extra pale ale. Reminded me of a subdued version of Two Brothers Sidekick. I continue to very much enjoy these offerings from Uinta.

I've noticed that all the beers from Unita that I've reviewed now seem to have low ABV.
And Wyld is the same case coming in at 4.0 ABV.
The aroma has a floral hoppiness which is bright and fresh smelling.
On the pour I got some hazy clarity with a small white head over the amber body.
Taste is malty and dry with some bitterness at the end that lingers into the aftertaste.
Not alot hops in the taste mostly malts.
Drinks prickly over the palate and finishes clean.
This is a desent beer nothing special. It is a bit lean and ashed out in the flavor but drinks good.

A - very clear, much towards the golden color rather than amber
S - great citrus aroma
T - excellent hop-front, light on the malt
M - seems a bit light for style
O - I really enjoyed this, a great hop forward PA that's easy drinking and definitely sessionable. Body is a little thin, but I'm not complaining!

12 oz can was poured into a pint glass.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger head that reduced to a thin layer. It is a pale yellow color with slow moving bubbles coming up through the glass. Nice lacing on the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Grassy, floral, and citrusy hops. Light caramel and bready malts too.

Taste: Light grapefruit, tangerine, caramel, and toasted malts.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied, medium carbonation, a little chewy, smooth, and delicious.

Overall: A nice light and tasty APA. In a can too.

(3.75) A: Hazy golden colour with a fairly thin head that dissipates quickly to cloud cells. Appears creamy with very nice lacing.

(3.75) S: Citrusy orange, herbal notes, tropical pineapple, grains, and spices including clove. A nice fresh aroma with citrus upfront that transitions into sweeter tropical notes. A bit of a grassy hefe or white ale aroma in there as well.

(3.5) T: Grains, muted citrus, floral notes, and some spice. Not at all what I was expecting from the aroma with many of those great qualities missing on the tongue. Slightly hoppy which provides some marginal dryness and bitterness.

(3.25) M: Light bodied with lower carbonation. No real discernible texture with little to no slickness.

(3.5) D: This would probably be a nice gateway craft beer to transition light beer friends/family over with considering the slightly hoppy nature, but still lacks a lot of that flavour that craft beer is appreciated for, even considering the lower ABV.
