Thick, rocky head of three fingers. Leaves chunky lace on the glass. Gorgeous, clear straw color.

Crisp aroma of paler malts and light hop. Smells very fresh all around. One of the best smelling blondes I've experienced.

This is what a blonde ale should taste like: Starts with dry-ish pale malt flavor which transitions into a pleasantly peppery hop. The finish has good balance. The aftertaste is bitter but doesn't last. Nice round mouthfeel.

A refreshing, tasty and fresh blonde ale. The best one so far for me.

A-Pours clear blonde with 1/2 inch of fluffy white head. Reduces quickly, leaving moderate thick lacing.

S-Bright sweet malts, a touch of graininess, pureed tropical fruit.

T/M-A very unique blonde. Really perfumey and light. Bright, refreshing carbonation and a light, fruity finish. Very simple and well done.

O-I could drink this all day.

12 oz. bottle,

A: Pours gold with a medium white head, good retention and lace.

S: Bready malts, some minerality which is nice.

T: Good malt flavour with a very attractive grassy hop character which suits this style well. Some lingering hop character, well balanced.

M: Light-bodied, crisp and refreshing, smooth.

O: This is a summer ale. The flavours are quite good and very drinkable. Not summer yet, but a low alcohol option to consider when the hot days come around.

12 ounce can - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Best Before: 07/28/2014

Appearance: Glugs from the can a lightly hazy, pale straw-hued body with a half-inch of white froth. Modest lacing.

Smell: A tad doughy, subtly grainy malts with a sliver of implied sweetness on the taste. Obliging citrus mixture from the hops, also subdued hints of leaf and spice.

Taste: Doughy, scantly grainy pale malts with a small pinch of table sugar. Pop of fruitiness, with a nice zesty, citrusy hop quality hinting of lime in addition to the typical lemon. Meager bit of spice. Lightly bitter. Clean, drying, crisp finish with just a bit of lingering citrus fruitiness.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Just a bit above medium carbonation.

Overall: A solid, refreshing ale available in a can that delivers a fair amount of flavor in contrast to its low alcohol.

A - Gross yellowish body, clear, but the white head has some good retention and lacing, especially taking style into consideration.

Smell isn't great, some wet, herbal, hay and pale malts. Taste is good though, the light body and medium carbonation lays a smooth consistency on the palate, with subtle herbal hops, some lemon citrus on a white crackery, bready malt base. Finish is crisp and clean, with slight lingering herbal hops.

O - Tough to rate, considering style. For what this beer is brewed for, it's excellent - easy drinking and sessionable while providing a complementary depth of character to keep it interesting. I could certainly drink this all day. Well done blonde ale.

Single bottle from mixed six poured into a pint glass. Classic summer beer.

Pours light gold with dissolving white foam. Wheaty citrus nose. Lemon. Smooth and sunny taste. A light tart rises up. Very slight hop at the finish. Really bright summer beer. Solid.

Bought a single bottle from AJ's Beer Warehouse sometime in July 2015. Served in a pint glass. Clear lemon yellow, snow white head, nice lacing. Faint aroma of lemon zest Bready malts with some faint citric bitterness. Mouthfeel is solid and smooth. Kind of generic but tasty. Wouldn't turn one down.

12oz. bottle

Pours a very pale straw color with a small white head that maintains. Decent lacing around the glass.

Very crisp malty aroma with a touch of herbal hops. Very slightly fruity. Smells very fresh and inviting.

Crisp and malty upfront leading into a mild herbal hop flavor and very mild bitterness. Finishes crisp as it stared, dry and very clean.

Light body, zippy carbonation.

An ideal summer brew. Crisp, clean, and extremely refreshing. Light in body, but not in flavor. Great for a nice session on the deck into the evening hours.

Pours a clear, gold color. 3/4 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of slight earthy malt, caramel malt, sweet malt, hint of yeast, and a hint of citrus hops. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of yeast, pale malt, hint of wheat, hint of citrus hops, slight caramel malt, and a hint of spice. Overall, good appearance, aroma, feel, blend, and body.

A - A bright clear blonde with a mild haze and a 1/4 inch of head that quickly reduces to a mild lace ring.

S - Smell of bright leafy hops and a mild grain profile. Citrus and lemon highlight.

T - The balance of hops to malt is great. The profile is crisp and grains and noticeable but sweet and wheat like.

M - Light and crisp. In no way watery for such a low ABV.

Overall a sure fire winner of a summer ale worth a six pack a sitting.

12oz : tulip snifter

Pours a clear, bright yellow with a fizzy white head.

Floral, grassy hops upfront, with a solid malt backing.

Lemony, grassy, floral hops, cracker malt backing.

Crisp, clean medium body, lightly fizzy carbonation.

A well done American Blonde. Lot's of flavor, but easy drinking and refreshing.

A - A murky golden brown. Foamy head that turns into a nice lacing and cap that sticks to the sides of the glass.

S - Even though there isn't any in it, this smells like honey. There is a light orange smell behind it as well.

T - Malt followed by orange, a little sweetness. A hop bitterness shows up as you swallow. Might be a little of that honey in there as well trying to compete with the hops, can't quite tell.

M - Light body with the right amount of carbonation for the style.

O - Pretty good beer for the sum'r season. Gives a decent amount of flavor and the light hops is a nice finish. Would certainly share a few over a barbecue.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a standard pint glass. Review written from notes taken on June 13.

A: Crystal clear gold color. Mildly aggressive pour leads to a big thick fluffy white 2 finger head. As it fades and as I drink, there is a ton of lacing sticking to the glass. Very nice looking beer.

S: Grains bring the pain first and foremost followed by lemon zest and orange peel citrus aromas and finally a hint of hop bitter. Nice nose, not overly complex.

T: Follows the nose with the citrus and hops shining more than the grains but they blend nicely and they are all quickly identifiable.

M: Great feel - lots of carbonation in a good way. Nice bitterness at the end with the sweetness up front.

O: This is an easy drinking beer that is big on flavor and at 4% abv, I could knock back a bunch of these on a hot summer day. Wonderful beer.

Not a style I would go to often but I was grilling yesterday and this was nice to have all afternoon.Poured into a standard pint glass a clear lemon tinged light golden with a thinner white head atop. The aromas were actually quite complex with lemony hops, toasted cereal grain, and a hint of biscuit.Lighter mouthfeel was expected but it didn't deter much from the beer, bright lemony notes along with a grainy element that lingers into a nice finish. One of the better beers I can think of if you want a low alcohol but flavorful blonde ale.

Pours a light golden yellow with a thicker then expected white frothy head. Smell is doughy, slight hop, slight citrus. Taste is crisp, the doughy flavor is there with some malt and a slight citrus hop finish. A thicker mouthfeel then expected, a refreshing beer, really easy drinker. Overall a good beer that is done well. Really great summer beer, but I could have these all year round.

Pours a clear golden straw color with a tight white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing.

Smells of light citrus hops and pale malts.

Tastes of the pale malt followed by a hop zing. Pale malts are grainy and a little sweet. Hops are lemon zesty. Balanced between sweet and bitter. A bit of yeast fruitiness.

Mouthfeel is light with a crisp amount of carbonation.

Poured into becker pint glass; clear golden yellow with a medium white head that sticks around with lots of foam and lacing. Smell is lots of crackery malt and just a hint of citrus and grassy crisp hops. Taste is delicious; crisp, clean body of biscuity malt with a perfect pinch of juicy citrus and crisp hops. Another great session beet from Uinta.

Another goody from Wasatch. Thanks!

Pours an almost clear straw with a chill haze forming quickly as the near pure-white, one-finger head dissipating into a bubbly froth. Crisp malts, light fruits and near indiscernible hops all float to the nose. A bit dry going down with some malts, a surprising hoppiness, and a good, somewhat delayed fruit hit at the end. Light-bodied and highly drinkable, but still tasty, which is what I look for in a good summer sessioner. Could polish a few of these off easily if I had access to em'.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a medium white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, a good amount of hops and some citrus.

T: The taste starts out with some breadiness from a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweet flavors of lemony citrus and caramel quickly follow. The hops presence is good for the style and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, very mild kick, good representation of style, this is a nice beer to pound down for a long time.

Poured into a hefe glass. Color was a very light pale straw with a milky white head. Initially poured a 3 finger head that lasted 5-10 minutes. A small 1 finger head lasted for most of the beer. Constant streams of carbonation rose for about 15 minutes. Aroma was slightly sweet, and slightly wheaty. Taste was very pleasant, slightly citrusy, a tad sweet, a tad of hoppy bitterness, but very balanced. Felt ok in the mouth. Slightly over bitter on the toungue, but coated well and felt solid. A nice summer beer. Definitely worth drinking.

A true-blue summer blonde, excellently befitting the bottle's label-art: this is meant to quench and enlighten, hand over fist, as one quaffs suds in sweet recline, under the warm glow of an early-afternoon's estival orb. Buoyant, crystal-white head, that subsides quickly to tracings and lacings atop the golden puddle filling the twelve-ounce tulip. Really nice, if mild, lemon and herb-bush bouquet; sunny, sparkling flaxen glow. Easy-sipping, crisp, hint of pale-grainy sweetness; loads of herbaceousness from the hops, with only very mild bitter acids closing up the shop and cutting off any linger; very soft-bodied, clear mouth-feel; solid, though not especially powerful, effervescence.

Very session-minded; quite refreshing; great measured but thorough use of hops to create a blonde with just enough biting characteristics, but all around still subdued in all the right ways. Not the most exciting ale, but a nice six to throw in the cooler and chill on.

A - nice see through golden color, nice foamy head but not too much.

S - A hint of something, i have a bad nose.

T - nice taste like a blonde, a citrus hint and and a not so good after taste.

M - It has substance but not as much as a darker beer, right where it should be.

O - Good not but not Great i wouldn't buy again over the wasatch kolesch.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tulip pint glass.

A: Clear, pale golden color with one finger of diminishing white foam head. Heavy lacing remains on the glass and bubbles rise uniformly in the column at a metered pace.

S: Very mild with soft carbonic acid and crackery malt. A whiff of transient floral hops is also present at times.

T: Begins off-dry, with fairly husky pilsner malt and delicate grassy, floral, and lime citrus hop aromatics. Flavors tend to run together more as the taste progresses, yielding a slightly unctuous carbohydrate quality. The finish sees the strongest influence of acidity--though still restrained--providing an airy carbonic quality, with bitterness never really showing up.

M: Thin to medium viscosity, wet and creamy on the palate, with low carbonation.

D/O: The lightest ales are a simple pleasure when they are served in a seasonally appropriate fashion--when refreshment becomes a bigger part of why we drink. This beer is no exception, with the ability to quench a powerful thirst and still provide an interesting, if understated, display of malt and hops.

Poured into a goblet glass.

Look: A hazy straw colored body sits under a white head. Lovely amounts of patchy lacing cling to the glass as the beer recedes.

Aroma: A good amount of bready, doughy malts come forth with a backdrop of citrus ... think faint orange if anything. I little bit of a piny hop note at the very end.

Taste: A very clean, refreshing opening where nothing really gets in the way. The body is mainly bready malts decorated with citrus zest. The more I drink this, the more hoppy it becomes, especially in the finish, which is to say it has a good balance.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light.

Overall: Absolutely perfect for Summer drinking, I really like the balance between hops and malts in this with just a touch of citrus.
