probably the least compelling of the uinta beers i had out in utah on my trip, this is fine beer, drinkable enough and quite hoppy as they go, but it just seems sort of lackluster overall, like its missing something. a little malty for what it is, but i like it having a little more substance. the hops just seem a little lost to this, like its better as a light pale ale than it is as an ipa of any kind, it just never really gets there on the hops for me. subtle pine, toasted grain sweetness, and orange. it has some body for its lightness, i just wonder how all the utah draft beer is exactly 4% abv, do they have it that dialed, is it watered down some, its tough to say, but its light abv is not necessarily indicative of its drinkability here, its still light, but its not necessarily interesting enough to want to drink a lot of, and it kind of falls apart a little when it warms up. maybe i am being to critical, they cant all be amazing, and i did enjoy the one pint of this i had well enough, so whatever, its passable craft beer, but thats not the standard i would want to be held to if i was making it...

Can dated best by 10/10/16 into pint glass. Pours a cloudy amber with a persistent but thin off-white head. Initial impression is citrus, pine, maybe a little floral hops. Not much bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Dry, refreshing finish. Very sessionable - would be great with seafood.

A thanks to the commander of canned beers, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is fruity, tangerine, mango. Taste is mild compared to the aroma. Citrus, caramel malts, very little bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but lacking any punch.

Comes in hearty looking for a session ipa, dark gold, seems like plenty of malt (or color from heavier toasting). 1/2" white head. Aroma was more earthy old world hops than anything.

Taste had an almost lager yeast like fruitiness, mild hopping, mild toasted hops, still comes across like a hybrid of an American and English pale ale. Noticed substantial variation in the six pack. It was alright, but clearly a ways away from being an elite 1st tier session ipa.

Pours a finger and half of head on a slightly hazy straw body.
The aroma is pine, mango and pineapple. Nice tropical smells.
The taste has a sharp pine bitter followed by a watery bitter.
The texture is crisp.
It has nice aroma but the flavor is a bit jarring.
