Pours a mostly clear dark brown with thick very dense light brown head... settles slowly leaving rings of thick lace down the glass. Smell: lots of pine, some herbal and spicy pops, beneath is ripe plum and notes of dark bread, dark chocolate, anise. Taste: loads of pine, a little hot, sugary dark fruit, citrus peel, notes of anise(-ish) and chocolate towards the finish. Full bodied, very creamy and luxurious feel that slowly fades out into a hop drenched finish. Very enjoyable. Best by 7/28/14.

Pours out a dark brown, almost black, with ruby highlights all around the glass. The thin head is like frothed, whipped milk. The smell is very much like a cross between imperial stout and IPA. Lots of chocolate and roasted malts along with piney hops. Taste leans a lot more towards imperial stout. This actually reminds me of yeti a lot, but with a slightly higher hit of hops. Hop bitterness isn't overbearing. Mild acidity in the finish. Lots of roast in the body. Mouthfeel is full and creamy, but not overly heavy. Delicious.
