Poured from the can to a standard pint glass.

Look: Color is nice - a pretty apricot color, comes across as a little hazy. Starts with about 1/3 inch head, recedes to an uneven skim, but this one has legs and it leaves a nice trail of lacing where the head once was.

Smell: Pretty decent, robust; plenty of sticky and bitter hops, piney, with just a hint of citrus. Malt comes through, providing a solid backing.

Taste: I'm definitely digging on this beer. Bitter, earthy, grassy, piney hops with a bit of a citrus, perhaps lemon as well. Sweet malts, with a bit of toast to it rounds out the back.

Feel: I like the body as well. Not too heavy, about what I would expect/want from an IPA. Decent carbonation keeps it soft and and smooth on the pallet. Sticky residue left on the roof of the mouth, kind of keeps me thirsty for more.

Overall: I could kill this beer all day long. Priced pretty well, too. Picked up the sixer for 9 bones at the local Kroger.

L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had an amber-copper color and a clear consistency. There was a two inch, foamy, long-lasting head. Very good lacing.

S: A very solid aroma of hops, citrus fruit, some malt, and a little caramel.

T: Tasted of a good amount of citrus fruit (tangerine and oranges, in particular), some tropical fruit (mangoes), lots of hops, light malt notes, and a hint of caramel. A nicely balanced flavor, with the hops and fruit commingling well together. Not a hop bomb, if that's what you're looking for, but very tasty.

F: A highly carbonated beer with a vibrant finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is quite an enjoyable IPA. Sweet, hoppy, and drinkable.

For me this was an outstanding IPA. Pours a beautiful clear amber, darker than I expected, with a great foamy white head with good retention and lacing. The aroma was of orange peel and tangerines mixed with general maltiness, and the taste pretty balanced between piney/fruity (grapefruit, oranges, tangerines, a litttle lemon) hops and malt. I'm not good at breaking down the malt profile so I leave that to other reviewers. I enjoyed it through the finish which was dry and not overly bitter. Extremely enjoyable!

3/5/17 (20oz draft, Urban Table, Long Beach) Second time trying this beer (first was in a can and recall good things). This is a very good IPA, pretty balanced leaning a tad malty, enjoyed every drop, 4.1

Tastes cheap to me. Sorry. Some coriander taste. Malty. The after taste is unpleasant to me. It does not taste like an IPA to me. IPA tastes like citrus, piney, resin, rich, bitter, refreshing. This stuff is distinctive that it does not taste good. You could not pay me to drink this again. for $1.00 more I could have a Lagunitas IPA, Stone IPA, Odell, New Belgium.
