Wow, what agreat beer. Nice orange-brownish color with a very nice expected head that dissipates at just the right speed. First flavor seems to be like hay, but quickly goes to a nice hoppy, crisp, clean finish. The carbonation is just right and leaves a clean, yet flavorful finish. Also, with the hay, a touch of citrus, maybe grapefruit??. Overall, one of the best beers I have had in awhile and will definitely seek this one out a gain. Great brewer. Keep up the good work

Poured from a bottle into a snifter at around 45 degrees Fahrenheit

Appearance: Hazy orange copper color with a two finger off white head. Great lacing. Doesn't get better looking in the glass for the style.

Smell: Tropical, piney, grassy, all while maintaining subtle and extremely clean. Has got me ready to dig in!

Taste: Pine and malt upfront, then citrus and melon that carries into the aftertaste. Tasty burps!

Mouthfeel: Medium body; Well carbonated, slightly oily, goes down crisp and easy

Overall: When I first had this a couple years ago my mind was blown and haven't had it since until now, and I gotta say, this is one of those beers that I enjoy as much as I did back then. Its very true to the style and everything I want in a IPA. Balanced between fruity and pine hops, and sweet malts. Very fresh aroma and taste. Not too bitter and goes down smooth. The price is right also. Hands down one of my favorites in the style, and this six pack is making me wonder why I don't have this more often. I will, let me tell you.

Severed in a Pint from a bottle dated best before 7/18/14

A- Very nice in the glass.. Orange- Cooper color with light to moderate carbonation.. when poured i got about a finger and a half of head and within 3 minutes it has reduced but is still sticking around.. nice lacing around the top of this glass..

S- A very heavy mixture of citrus and hops.. i get oranges, grapefruits and a hint of mangos.. the hop presence is piney but not too forward... it lingers in the background.. very nice

T- You get a ton of citrus up front with a bitter hop back end.. the complexity and balance of this beer is really what makes it one of my favorites..

M- Not too much carbonation.. and hides the alcohol feel very nicely

O- This along with 5 others are my go to beers.. i dont know how to sum this beer up without using the word WOW.. the label is pretty cool too.. and it has a date on the bottle.. Very nicely done Uinta.. I recommend this to everyone..

P.S. My girlfriend HATES beer.. had her try a sip of this.. she stole the glass away.. yeah its that good

Really good looking beer -- perfect copper orange color and soft, fluffy head and lacing.

Smell is hoppy, but mellow -- I get lemon, peach and pine.

Cool, piney and lemony, with some soft peach and mango following close behind. Malts take a back seat, as they should in an IPA, and it's just as sweet a it needs to be.

Crisp, piney finish with maybe some rye spice? There's a little alcohol burn as you near the bottoms of the glass.

Overall, this is a crisp, tasty, refreshing IPA with a soft feel.
