12 oz. bottle into a snifter. Pours a clear copper with 1 finger of slightly off-white foam. Nice tropical fruit nose - grapefruit, mango, pineapple. I also get some notes of pine and spice. Medium weight, and nice and creamy. There's a hop bitterness right away upon tasting, which quickly fades and gives way to sweet grapefruit and pineapple. Finishes smooth, and leaves a piney/hoppy bitterness on the taste buds.

Overall, a very well made IPA. It's slightly more pine-forward, but does have some good fruit character. Perfect amount of bitterness. This one stands right up there with Torpedo, in my opinion.

I first tried this beer after having Uinta’s Dubhe. I really like everything that Uinta stands for and all of their beers are excellent. I poured this into a worthy glass after chilling it in the freezer for a bit. It has a modest 7.3% ABV and 82 IBUs.

Look: Pours a crisp and clear golden yellow. I can’t get over how beautiful this beer looks which is like liquid gold. The clarity is stunning and it has a mild head if poured vigorously which settles down into a snowy foamy cap before you even finish it. Finishes with nice lacing on the glass.

Smell: I get a nice malty aroma laced with hops and many flavors, but take a big whiff, because the aroma isn't very strong.

Taste: I get zesty orange peel, coriander, lemongrass, tangerine, spices, herbal notes, and hoppy heaven.

Mouthfeel: The beer drinks really well and has a smooth mouthfeel and plenty of carbonation. Also leaves a nice subtle resinous coating on the tongue.

Overall: This is a great beer that is refreshing and great at the end of a long day. It is also good in the summer when you have finished mowing the lawn or munchin’ some nice carpet, drink one or two of these down real crisp and cold.

Pour: light orangish amber with a thin head that quickly dissapated and left a thin lace on the glass.

Smell: light citrus notes with heavy hop spice.

Drink: quick hit of malt sweetness, followed by bitter hop oil, quickly followed by light spicy citrus notes with a light hop lingering taste.

Feel: medium body, but quite drinkable.

Overall: quite drinkable, not the best ipa ever, but far from the worst.
