A - Poured with very little head. Dissipated quickly to a very light cap and left very little lacing. Color is a very clear slightly golden yellow. High levels of carbonation are visible.

S - Very sweet smell is overpowering at first, but as you get into it, there is a cereal adjunct smell, and then a slightly boozy smell, surprising for a 4% ABV.

T - Fruits and adjuncts, taste like a cheap macro adjunct lager with tart pear juice mixed in. Not impressed at all. No quality malt or hops notes to speak of.

M - Club soda?

O - Not impressed with this one, and although I've never been blown away by a beer from Uinta, this one is not up to par. Maybe I got a bad batch or something, but it is enough to scare me away from buying this one again. Glad it was part of a make your own 6 and I only have one bottle of it. Not up to the quality of other Kolsch style beers I've had.
You may say I'm being to hard on this one, and it isn't horrible, but it taste like something I would drink while grilling or tailgating, and given a choice I would rather have a cheap, American light beer than this.

Beautiful, light gold with plenty of lace and good head retention.
Pear and tart apple esters are plentiful along with bready dough like malt flavors.
Have been drinking a lot of German Kolsches lately, but this Utah one can hold it's head high.
Mouthfeel is medium and this leans toward an ale for a hybrid, but with higher than average carbonation. Very tasty and fairly crisp though...a great Summer beer.

Clear golden colored beer with a small white colored head.

Smells of toasted grain and malt with a bit of a bake sweet bread scent. Faint apple butter scent to this.

Starts out slightly sweet with a fruity flavor. Medium bitterness and lots of toasted grain and caramel.

Mouthfeel is good.

Overall way decent for a 4% Utah supermarket beer.

Appearance: Poured with just under a finger of head and settled slightly but was present throughout. Light random lacing. Orange/golden color. Cloudy body with average active carbonation while drinking.

Smell: Cream, bananas, butter, yeast, bread, and sweet dough. The very bright creamy texture jumps right out of the glass. Solid yeast and malt backbone. Light hop presence. This aroma is simple, to the point, and delicious.

Taste: Buttery front hits the palate first. A solid malt and yeast body keep coming in waves. Little hop presence is found. The finish is a refreshing sweetness that is easy on the palate.

Mouthfeel: Easy, refreshing, sessionable, and drinkable.

Overall: A very enjoyable Kolsch. Uinta beers are always very solid and drinkable. This beer packs a pretty impressive punch for being 4% abv. Definitely recommended.
