I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a nine sample flight. It poured a clear copper with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle grain and citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base and subtle citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Pours a golden color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Quite hoppy at 90 IBUs. No discernable aroma. Tastes of grapefruit with a citrus aftertaste.

Received in trade from jbck109, thanks for the opportunity.
Pours a clear deep golden copper color with a stingy white head that exhibits little staying power. Smells exudes all the usual suspects, citrus mostly in the from of grapefruit with a caramel malty background and hints of pine and a slightly earthy character. Taste is pretty much what I expected from the aroma. Caramel malt that succumbs to the grapefruit and pine onslaught and a long lingering citrus aftertaste in every sip. Maybe I imagined this, but halfway through the first glass I started picking up some garlic in the flavor. Medium to full body with a moderate level of carbonation, creamy and resinous mouthfeel. Nice old school style IPA heavy on the c hops and very easy to drink. Glad I got to try this.

Reviewed on 6/27/2010. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus, piney hops, and caramel malt. Flavor of caramel malt, bitter hops, and floral hops. A nice IPA, and overall it was very drinkable and enjoyable.
