$ 2.99/330 mL bottle at Lager Mill
Undated bottle at 45 degrees into hand washed and dried weizen glass
Aroma of yeast; thick sediment in bottle bottom
Head > 10 cm on initial pour, slowly diminishing to irregular creamy layer 1.5 – 2 cm thick
Lacing – virtually none; few small, irregular islands of very tiny bubbles
Body medium yellow, slight haze
Flavor begins sweet with a hint of banana. There is a spiciness present, but not of clove. No alcohol, no hops, no diacetyl. Ends lightly sweet with no lingering aftertaste.
Palate medium, creamy, lively carbonation

Yet another pleasant German hefeweizen, inexpensive and flavorful. Looses points for absence of lacing.

Has a golden/ tan murky appearance to the beer with a good aroma of banana nut bread, malt, and some caramel. The taste of this beer was very balanced in malt/ banana style flavor and has a good mouth feel. A very enjoyable Hefe-Weissbier that has stayed consistent through the years with taste/ quality. Always a go to beer for me!

Pours a cloudy orange color with a impressive head that takes its time to dissipate leaving some lacing in a weissen glass.

Smell is of yeast, clove, banana, and wheat malts. Smell is impressive and strong. Really delicious smell, begging you to taste it.

Taste is all that you hoped it would be from the smell. Taste follows the nose with the banana, and clove being the most dominate ones that I get.

Mouthfeel is a little less impressive to me. Not a carbonated as I would have hoped from such a large head. Feel is more smooth.

Overall, a very impressive beer. If you like a good wheat beer, then you will really enjoy this one. The spice is not as overwhelming like I have had in other hefes. I will definitely get this one again.
