Went here for a few beers on Saturday night. This bar is owned by the same people that own the Washington Street Tavern, so I have been waiting to see how this place stacks up against it. Very dark and cozy looking atmosphere when you first walk in. Lots of seating for eaters on the left side, with a nice bar on the right. The only TV in the place was a small one to the left of the bar, and it was off. That was a classy touch on a Saturday night. The bar was set up with a nice selection of bottled beers, like Anchor, DFH, and Stone 22oz. The draft list was a nice surprise to see some ones you do not normally see like Fullers, Harpoon 100 bbl, DFH. I chose to have a OHara Irish Red and also a Affligem (served in a Aff chalice), while my wife had a Erdinger (served in a Erd hefe glass). Pints are $4 or $5.50. I would like to return here to try some food (and have a few more beers).
