super mild but pleasant strawberry taste, almost reminds me of like a fruity style hard seltzer that you might see your stepmom or great aunt drinking at the family bbq

12 oz can in Florida.
Appearance. Pale golden body with high clarity and a decent white head.
Feel. Light body with medium-high, overly prickly carbonation.
Aroma. Sweet strawberry notes with faint light bread.
Flavor. Not nearly as sweet as the aroma suggests. Dominated by strawberry notes bit not unidimensional.

12 oz. bottle poured into an ale glass
Look: One finger head fell quickly, little lacing. Almost clear color with tinge of red.
Smell: Strawberry and wheat very prominent.
Taste: A smooth ale with hints of strawberry. Not overpowering. A little bitter on the aftertaste.
Feel: Excellent carbonation, creates a thin film that stays on the tongue after swallowing.
Overall: A very pleasurable beer. This would be good with a salad or sandwich any anything that is not too heavy. This would also be excellent with a dessert course.

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a pint glass, forming maybe a finger of white head that soon faded to a ring of lacing. Mostly clear amber body with just a hint of red/orange. Very faint smell of malty strawberries. Taste is very mild but refreshing, just like the smell. Malt up forward and a tiny bit of strawberry at the end. Light bodied with a strong bite of carbonation. Pretty meh overall, nothing compared to some other strawberry blonde ales.

Amber golden appearance with a thin white head made of tiny popping bubbles. Head drops into the beer fairly quickly. Slow carbonation bubbles. Not seeing any sediments.
Smell is very strong strawberry forward. Just a touch artificial but still a pleasant enough strawberry odor that covers anything else up.
Taste is like a strawberry cereal. One of those ones made for kids. Again a bit artificial on the strawberry taste. Like the nose that strawberry is very dominant and tends to hide much else I can pick out.
Mouth feel is pretty light with a bit of a wet finish that will drop off nicely. Getting some nice carbonation dancing on the tongue.
Overall this is a good summer beer. No heavy ABV. Light and easy drinking. While the nose and taste is strawberry across the board, and a bit artificial, this beer still works. Shiner beers have a tendency to be low priced here in Vegas, $5.99 for a six of this one. That price point is real nice for someone wanting to try something a bit different. One caution on this would be if you don't like strawberries you probably would not like this beer. Yet look at the realities of it, this beer is telling you it is brewed with strawberries. No I think Shiner achieved what they set out to do. Good job Shiner!
