When we decided to brew a not-so-everyday everyday beer, we knew had to be balanced and refreshing. So, we created an easy-drinking ale that's dry hopped with Mosaic hops for a hint of tropical aroma. It's the perfect beer for any day.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance - The brew pours a golden amber color with a small white head. The head fades fast to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma is strongest of tangerine and grapefruit aroma mixed with a little bit of grain. Mixed with these smells comes a touch of hay and a bit of cereal grain.
Taste- The taste begins with a cracker malt taste that has a bit of grapefruit hop taste. As the taste advances more grapefruit hop and a touch of herb come to the tounge. Some very light sweeter orange citrus as well as some grass and hay develop at the very end and leave one with a crisp and grapefruit hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel-The body of the brew is light and thin with a carbonation level that is average. The thin body is nice for the session nature of the brew and makes it quite easy drinking.
Overall- A decent citrus heavy session IPA. Nothing too exceptional but nice non the less

Lovely pale yellow body, crisp and clear; plenty of lively carbonation; thick and creamy white head. Mild nose; gentle esters with notes of berries and musk melon; some light malt character. The taste follows along the lines of the smell; light cracker with a bright and mild fruit presence; little in the way of hop bitterness; very clean. Light body; crisp; delicate sweetness with a bit of dryness towards the finish.

This is a pleasant yet unassuming beer. It is somewhat watery but still manages to deliver some nice low-key flavor to the palate.

Not a bad little alternative to a light beer for some football watching. Not much aroma, simple taste with little finish. Drinks a little thin. Don't really sense the tropical flavor.

Here is yet another CAN for The CANQuest (tm), CANtesy of my local, in-person trader @tone77 who just happens to be CANming by later today for a pick-up & drop-off. Yay!

From the CAN: "Every drop of Shiner is brewed in Shiner, TX"; "Enjoy Shiner any day"; "This easy-drinking ale is dry-hopped with Mosaic hops for a unique tropical aroma and a crisp, clean finish."; "18 IBU".

Once I had everything transcribed, I Crack!ed open the vent. It was then time for a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It puffed up nicely to form just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention. Color was a pretty Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7) with NE-quality clarity, prompting an impromptu visit from The Gelt Gang of Midas, Mammon & Croesus. Nose was very soft in terms of its hop presence. It had a light tropical fruitiness but it was rather unobtrusive, unlike many/most Session Ales that are all aroma & little to no bittering. Let's hope that this one is truly the reverse of that trend! Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but certainly big for a relatively low-ABV beer. The taste was slightly bready with a light tropical fruitiness that was discernible but not overwhelming. Finish was semi-dry and quite refreshing on this morning in the waning days of Summer 2019. I agree that I CAN see crushing a few on a hot, humid day, but I also think that I might become bored with it after a few. YMMV.
