Look is translucent bronze with pale tan cream
Smell is great...graham cocoa and marshmallow all represented well
Taste is good with malt sweetness yet slight cocoa nutty dry accent in feel with moderately high carbonation
Overall tastes like the beer equivalent of Golden grahams mixed with cocoa puffs

Okay yes it's additive-laden and artificial as can be, but it's not as awful as I feared. Cheap chocolate malt, artificial chocolate, Whoppers/malted milk balls, artificial hazelnut, dark malt sweetness, added sugar.

Has a cheap taste to it, and tastes nothing like a s'more, but if you like sugary sweet additive/adjunct beers this might be for you.

I'd pass on another glass, but I've had more cloying beers that were more artificial. I expected far worse.

Darkish, almost black ale with bright ruby red highlights, good tan cap and lacing.

Aroma of dark chocolate, vanilla, something like Demerara sugar or even molasses.

Tastes like roasted malt without roasted bitterness strongly flavored with chocolate and molasses. Bit of baked grain also. If they were shooting for graham cracker with chocolate and marshmallows then they nailed it.

Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.

Truth in advertising here, this brew actually delivers what the label promises.

Poured from a fresh 12oz bottle into a chilled pint glass. Smell is super overwhelming graham cracker with a nice vanilla touch. Taste is excellent, all flavors come through with a very great chocolate aftertaste. Feels like im at a campfire eating a warm smore right off the fire. Super surprised with how well this beer lives up to its title! I love it!

S'more has a thick, creamy, beige head, a dark red-brown appearance, bubble streams, and moderate glass lacing. The aroma is of roasted marshmallows, graham cracker, chocolate, and dark malts. The flavor is similar, with no bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and S'more finishes mildly sweet. A very interesting novelty item, here.

Pours a dark brown clear but not much seeing through its to dark. Head is big and fluffy and very long lasting tan colored head.

Aroma is dark lightly spicy malts, lots of chocolate and sugary marshmallow, graham crackers, vanilla, light cinnamon hints of toffee.

Taste is not as rich and full as the nose would have you believe. Lightly roasted malts not near as sweet either, light toffee marshmallow and spices with really just vanilla making it through. Not really bad more like you would expect from Shiner but dang the nose had so much going on thought this was going to be heavier or more complex or something. Still not bad just missing a little something.

Mouthfeel is lighter side of medium with fairly peppy carbonation.

Overall smells wonderful but just tastes ok.

12oz bottle. Poured out a semi-opaque, dark brown color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of chocolate, toastiness and toffee. This tasted very much like the s'mores dessert. Really impressive.

12 oz bottle poured into smokestack snifter.

Light brown body forming into a more chocolate color with a khaki head of 2 fingers leaving sheets of lacing.

Holy shit, if this doesn't smell just like a freshly made S'more. Tons of marshmallow, vanilla, chocolate, and graham. Wonderful malty sweetness dare I say honey-like. Great stuff. Really.

Flavor brings earthy presence, definitely not even a fraction as sweet as the nose smells; with slight dirty dry cocoa and some graham sweetness. Very faint vanilla. Earthy hops provide a bitter landscape. Aftertaste is vanilla and dry cocoa. Belches are Smores.

Feel is extremely thin, I was expecting some huge creaminess and I got seltzer water in comparison. Nutty, dry finish.

Overall, decent but nothing I'd return to. That nose though...

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown color with a one finger head of off white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The smell is amazing for a brew of its abv. It has tones of graham cracker with a good showing of chocolate and a vanilla marshmallow smell. With a little bit of caramel and a hint of toast and roasted malt, it makes for one fine S’More smelling brew.

Taste – The taste begins with a bit of a lightly roasted malt taste that has a good showing of vanilla and some toasted malt in there as well. As the taste advances the vanilla gives way to more marshmallow and chocolate tastes. The graham cracker really kicks it up at the end, all while a little bit more sweetness of lactose and caramel come to the tongue, leaving one with a nice, moderately sweet, but not overpowering, toasted s’mores taste to linger on the tongue

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is moderate in thickness with a carbonation level that is slightly on the lower side. A little more body may have accentuated the flavors slightly better, but overall the feel was pretty good.

Overall – For an abv of only 5, this one packs a ton of good authentic S’more flavor. I am impressed with what Shiner did here. S’mores tasty, drinkable, affordable, and sessionable. This was awesome!!
