On tap at World of Beer North Hills on 12/29/11.

Pours a dark amber with a thin lacing of loose head. The nose predominantly peaches. The taste is heavy peaches up front with some caramel malt and a slight bitter finish. This is a light to medium bodied beer with good carbonation.

This is a nice twist on a the winter beer. Rather than some heavy, rich, spiced beer, Shiner made a delicious, sweet, almost dessert-like beer. This is a welcomed change of pace.

Look: Amber; About 1 finger of off-white foam on top.

Smell: Peaches and hops.

Taste: Wow: peachy sweetness comes thru almost immediately, with the
subtlest hint of hops at the midpoint close: No bitterness. Actually quite
fun/enjoyable to drink.

Feel: Smooth; Slight creaminess.

Overall: Actually a pretty fun and unassuming little beer. Definitely sessionable,
particularly at a holiday gathering. I saw a comment about non-beer drinkers
potentially enjoying this and I totally get it. (Sort of a tamer alternative to
something like Troegs Mad Elf.)

The Shiner Holiday Cheer was a good seasonal beer. I do not remember everything about this beer. It has been so long since I have had it, but from what I do remember it was that too strong, or too light. For a seasonal beer it was actually really good. Also the taste of this beer was not really all that bad actually.

Nice and fruity. Like the label says - full of Holiday Cheer.

A spiced dark wheat wassail, caramel colored, with a fresh peachy note in the nose.
After reading about this a Christmas or two ago, this is my first sampling, and I must admit this is like finding a surprise package under the tree. I have never tasted an ale like this one before. The use of peaches and pecans gives this a unique flavor profile, which is neither dry nor sweet, but has bit of tartness in the finish. Getting over the initial flavor shock, this becomes a very tasty, drinkable beer. A krausend 5.4 % delight.

Shiner Holiday Cheer has a thin, creamy, khaki head and a very clear, copper appearance with a few bubbles streaming up and a little bit of lacing. The aroma is overwhelmingly of peaches, but maybe one can detect some malt and water. As it warms, some sort of husk smell shows up. The taste is of peaches, nuts, barley, water, and a little touch of hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Shiner Holiday Cheer finishes crisp, refreshing, mostly dry, and easy drinking. Overall, this is nice.

Nice amber color in appearance. The mouthfeel very exceptional, if all the wheat beers had this we would be big fans. There is a nice hint of peaches in the nose of this beer. This is very nicely noticed in the taste. The taste is very nicely balanced, giving this beer a great taste. We feel this is a nicely brewed beer. Enjoy
