So to me the scent of this beer is actually enviting. Peaches on the edge of a malty base if not seeming a little too peachy. Maybe a little grape juice scented. I like the flavor. It's a beery drink with a peach ending. I like the sweet/bitter fight at the end of this beer. The only downside is the sweetness does linger on the palate a bit. It's really carbonated and a bit watery. Decent holiday beer if you ask me.

This is EXACTLY why we should read labels folks, saw this beer for years always assumed it was some cinnamon and nut type winter warmer, nope...Looked decent enough, amber hued w a nice off white head. Almost immediately however I was greeted with a sickly sweet, urine filled diaper aroma, mind you I'm pouring 2 ft away, put my nose in and taht was it, pee pee peach overwhelming everything, taste following suit being almost artificial in its sweetness, even if I liked peaches this is horrible, mouth is like syrup, opposite of a dry wheat feel, overall, no cheer here, not how planned to start 2017, thanks shiner

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. 2016 batch. Sampled on December 30, 2016.

Attractive looking amber-mahogany pour with a quick lasting head that fades fast with no lacing.

Ack! That aroma is crazy. Peaches, peaches, and more peaches. Smells like peach juice. No barley malts or hop sensation that I can pick up. Vegetable oil too. Highly disappointing.

Light body.

The taste is a tad better than the abrupt peach-like aroma but not by much. I get this peach juice character, a vague (very vague) bready note, and only the slightest of hop bite. But this might as well be a peach drink.

After 8 years on BA I do really try to keep an open mind and "respect beer" but I can't get why this is getting the better than average ratings it is getting. It seems so artificial. Maybe I got an old or bad bottle. Yeah, that will be my excuse.

I was not a fan of the aroma profile on this at first, but I'm glad I stuck with it. Lots of dark malt on the nose, with some odd notes of overripe peach that seemed incongruous. These elements complemented each other a little better on the palate. This beer was actually quite drinkable, with a lingering bittersweet finish. Not one I'll be seeking out again, but not bad.

A: Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Body is clear, dark coppery-amber with a small khaki-colored head. Lots of visible carbonation.

S: Pureed peaches and strawberries over a sweet malt foundation.

T: Meh. Nutty malt foundation is followed by overripe peaches. Finishes clean, though with a slight aftertaste of fruity sweetness.

M: Light in heft, active, fizzy carbonation.

O: Not impressed. Glad I only bought the single bottle. Merry Christmas to all and to all a [better beer than this one] . . . Good night!

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
L - Poured a deep amber with a light tan head.
S - Smells of peaches.
T - Taste matches the smell, very peachy, with a little nuttiness. It has a nice maltiness on the finish.
F - Nicely carbonated.
O - I've been trying different holiday beers lately, and this one was different in a good way. Very nice drinking beer.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint glass.

L: Pours a deep russet mahogany color with very little head.

S: Peach and other orchard fruits. Faint nutty aroma, too. Very pleasant on the nose.

T: Overwhelming grapefruit; so much grapefruit, in fact, that I didn't detect much else. I expected more peach, since it is so dominant on the nose. A bit yeasty in the aftertaste.

F: Somewhat crisp and dry. Feels thin and somewhat unsubstantial on the tongue.

O: A very solid holiday brew.
