It smells and tastes like peaches. Way too sweet and syrupy for my tastes.

Sweet to taste. Not bad. As seen before you don't want to drink too many. Too much peach

A dark ruby, white head, leaving rings of lace.
S clove, spice, orange.
T more of the clove, spice, orange of the nose, with more malts.
M good carbonation, easy to drink, fruit aftertaste.
O good holiday brew, very cheery and flavorful

A: Pours a dark ruby color with a fingers worth of head that slowly fades down pretty much nothing

S: Peaches and malt stand out the most, providing a moderate sweetness and interesting fruitiness. Not much else behind that

T: Follows the nose, with the addition of some pecan notes coming through to cut sweetness and the huge peachy notes from the nose. Definitely starts with the malt and peaches out front, but the pecans come in shortly after to provide balance. Finishes with lingering peach and pecan notes

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: Definitely interesting and different for a winter brew and dunkelweizen, but a good iteration if you want just that. The peach and pecan certainly mark the brew, which is a good thing (for the sake of being different). Worth seeking out, which isn't easily said for any other Shiner beer

Was very sweet, even for a dunkel. First beer in months i've had to give away.
