Interesting black beans, but too thin.

Look: One finger white head, dark orange body.

Bought a bottle of this from the Tobu department store in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Poured into a pilsner glass. A dark-bodied lager with some serious black bean spice coming through in the scent and in the flavor. Lots of roasted notes with a bitter hop finish. This is by far one of the best happoshu beers i've ever had -- and I love that they proudly claim "happoshu" on the front label! This Japanese adjunct claims to have black bean in the flavor, and it doesn't disappoint! I would definitely drink this again!
