Pours a light golden yellow/orange.

Aroma is very floral forward with citrus and a mixture of pine too.

Taste is a decent bit of citrus (grapefruit, orange peel) along with the floral and piney hops too. Bit of a sweet malt backbone as well.

Medium bodied, crisp, clean, alcohol is pretty well hidden,

Nicely done!

Poured from 12 oz can dated 12/22/2016.

A: Clear golden yellow with 1-2 finger white head. Bubbly carbonation. Decent head retention and leaving moderate lacing.

S: Light citrus, floral hops, and a touch of pine.

T: Mix of sweet malts and citrus with an earthy almost herbal tone.

M: Medium body with slightly above average carbonation. Finishes slightly sweet and bitter.

O: Very good DIPA especially if you enjoy one with a strong malt backbone and are a fan of Centennial hops.

A clear yellow gold with a lot of bubby carbonation that gives it a soapy white head.

Smells like a bouquet of flowers, and fairly citrusy.

Tastes like pithy, semi sweet/candied orange, a lot of herbs and grass. Solid malt backbone.

This strikes me as an what an imperial version of Two Hearted might taste like. Very good beer. I like the Simcoe hopped one the best.

Single hop IIPA brewed with Centennial. Canned on 12/22/16. Poured into a Goose Island tulip. Beautiful straw-colored pour with 3 fingers of very well-sustained fluffy white foam on top. On the nose I smell pineapple, sweet orange, some grapefruit, and nectarines.

Medium body with a firm feel and a wonderful hoppy flavor. Like the other Mandala I tried, very intense citrus-like bitterness throughout, but still balanced by a honey-like toasted malt presence that complements the hops perfectly. Perhaps a bit sweeter than the Simcoe version. Also, the bitterness has more of a fruit character and less of an herbal character. I get those same toast/honey/marmalade flavors up front, then the hops add orange and pineapple juice to the party and those flavors carry through the finish. Like the Simcoe version, a fantastic IIPA. The two are very comparable, but I kind of prefer this one.

Poured from a growler
A: Pale yellow/orange with a one-finger head
S: Candied lemon, grass, a touch floral
T: Floral, herbs, citrus
M: Full-bodied, the feel is bigger than the smell/flavors suggest
O: I've never tasted a beer that is so floral-driven clock in at 9%. It tastes quite balanced overall, just a surprisingly big mouthfeel compared to the tame but tasty flavors

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/21/2016. Pours hazy deep golden/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings on the glass. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and moderate bready malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of huge grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, honey, biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is fairly well hidden, a small warmth lingers after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and moderate bready malt sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. Very juicy feeling on hop/yeast notes; hefty on malt, but not overly sweet. A highly enjoyable offering.

12 oz can poured into a tulip glass canned on 12/23

A: Creamy small bubbled white head that lingers sets on top of a bright amber gold body with good clarity.

S: Getting some citrus, lemon, grass, candied hops.

T: Foral, and earthy hops with a splash of citrus. A little like rust smells and some very floral like merigold smells then just a flash of sweet orange.A little rotten fruit.

M: Medium feel smooth carbonation very medium bodied but easy to drink.

O: Alcohol is hidden perfectly, beer is smooth easy to drink. If you like Centennial hops this beer pops. The more you drink this beer is quite exceptional. The hops play so smoothly through a spectrum if floral and fruity. This is worth checking out.

Canned 12/21. Deep gold, slightly cloudy with particulates. Mildly bitter hop scent. Taste is hoppy with mild fruity tang. Kind of a creamy feel to it with a slight alcohol kick. Rather enjoyable.

Solid beer but I think I'm the one who's rating this all over the board. Appearance is golden honey with a soapy head and a good amount of lacing and retention.
Aromas are floral and honey accents.
Flavors are herbal, chamomile, floral, citrus, honey and onion.
Nice sticky mouthfeel with a juicy hop bite bite that lingers for a few seconds. Overall, Jackie O's obviously isn't turning any heads with their hoppy beers but it's just my opinion that they may be overlooked. Much known for the barrel program this beer reminded me that I may need to pay closer attention to their dipa's. Mystic Mama is not a bad beer and all of the Jackie O's dipa's have been awesome. In closing I'll agree with another reviewer in saying that this beer is similar to Bodhi.

Pours a volden hazy yellow with a frothy white head. Which does sibside while settling leaving a small amout of sticky lacing and a slight layer of film.
Smell is very citrusy but actually kind of mellow. Taste is what makes this an awesome DIPA. Upfront blast of melons or zesty citric flavor. Almost tropical. Tangy as well. Strong hop profile in this one for sure. Body if medium and light carbonation balances out very well. Super DIPA (imo) very classy.

Beautiful nearly opaque yellow-orange with a soft, white, dense head that quickly disappears to a thin film leaving tons of wavy lace.

Smell is sticky, dank cannabis and pine followed by tangerine, grapefruit and broccoli.

Taste is similarly dank with a bitter pine punch, but juicy oranges comes in to brighten it up a hair, with a little lemon rind and some burnt rubber. I find this entry to be very similar to Bodhi actually.

Feel is full and frothy. Super fluffy!
