Notes:
Our yellow beer, brewed the hard way! Ricky was specifically designed for warm weather drinking and festivals. This beer was the first test batch and we wanted to create something that was very light, clean, crisp, and refreshing. Crafted with only 2-row barley, dextrose sugar, and saaz hops.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had very subtle grain. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base and subtle honey highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

I wanted "yella" beer, and this delivers what was promised. Clear yellow color when poured into the glass. White head forms, and then fades immediately. Noticed there is flocculation of some kind of protein suspended in the body of the beer. Smell is sweet cereal grains and corn that reminds me of driving by a purina factory as a youth. Hint of a grassy hop behind, and an old world lager-like finish lends some balancing bitterness. Moderate carbonation that feels better from the glass than the can. Something vegetal on the finish detracts slightly. Crushable and quenching if not memorably outstanding.

Canned on 4/9/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a light pale golden with bubbles racing upwards; creamy eggshell white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are floral along with some citrus notes. Lots of fresh bread and crackers. Some corn. Some fresh grass. Mild hints of strawberry. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. More floral notes. Lots of fresh grass. More bread, grains and corn. The citrus is subtle and balanced. More mild hints of strawberry in the mix. Moderate to low bitterness. Malts do their thing without dominating and almost take a backseat. Alcohol goes completely unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, fizzy, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a very solid brew. It's not flashy, but it's not supposed to be. It's very clean, crisp and refreshing. The craftsmanship is on point. This one is very fitting for the warmer weather.

On tap at the brewery pub in Athens.
Clear, pale golden body with a good white head. Patterned lacing is left sticking to the glass.
Suitably mild aroma with a balanced mix of hops and barley.
Flavor: bold for style, with a clean, very well balanced. A hint of honey is followed by a mildly bitter finish.
Medium-light body with medium+ carbonation and a semi-dry finish.

Clear golden, with very minimal head. Even though it was overpoured into a shaker glass, I'm getting the impression looking at pictures online that while you would expect something different from this type of beer, Jackie O's stays the course, adding to their largely "headless" selection of brews.
Well they hit the nail on the head, this tastes like an AAL. I'm getting sweet corn and buttered white rolls. Then a light tartness finishes the first gulp, with grape, grass, and white wine quickly coming in. Okay, this is actually pretty complex for what it is.
Smell is more bitter than the taste, with a lightly pungent and catty note.
Fairly slick but crisp.

A very solid "regular" beer here, as the regulars and locals would call it. Pours golden in color. Nice fizzy, crisp carbonation. Easy drinking, light, clean, balanced flavor. I'd like to see this available in 15 packs, or even by the case.

On draft at Jackie O's public house. This is a very clear/pale beer that tastes like a cross between a Kolsch and Pilsner. Super easy to drink, so it's a good thing the abv is low.
