The color is a beautiful brass with a large, white caviar head.
Smell is really mature and unbelievably complex, beginning with strong oak and peach. Acidity smells assertively malic, perfectly skirting acetic. Complexities include toasted sesame seeds and nuts, strawberry, toasty grass and corn.
Taste is quite sour but just enough, and really complex, with oak, peach, strawberry, and toasted sesame through a nicely frothy but medium body with a crisp, tart and dry finish. Acidity in flavor gives off lemon and grapefruit, but there is also some smokey, splintery oak.
This is hands down the best sour I have had by Jackie O's thus far. Holy shit.

On tap
Pours a clear golden color with a small fuzzy head that disappears completely. Smells of ripe peach skin, a pinot-like white grape some, must, floral and woody oak. Tastes of ripe peach, followed by a wave of juicy peach/stone fruit. Mid-palate is tart and juicy the finish brings out lots of oak that imparts a caramel sweetness as well as adds white wine notes. The finish is dry and lingers of ripe peach and oak. Medium-light body and carbonation, crisp dry finish. An outstanding peach sour

Bottle from the most recent release in April 2017. This is a light, and refreshing tart beer. Bottle says it was aged over 20 month in barrels. Very complex flavors with oak, peach and apricot.

Shared with JLindros. Bottled 5/15 # 159/450.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a mostly clear golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave thin wisps.
S - Aromas of nice white wine barrel notes, light peach and apricot fuzz. Nice light buttery oak, very floral and fragrant. Nice light buttery oak.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, the apricot and peach are very nice and lightly tart. Great stone fruit pit finish. The chardonnay is nice and oaky. Not overly peachy, but, good balance.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, not overly flemmy. Nice.
O - Overall this beer was rather tasty. Great stone fruit notes with good wine characteristics.

Thanks to rudzud
Very little head fades almost instantly, mostly clear golden honey color.
Nose nice tart funk, grassy mild barnyard Brett funk, citrus acidic funk with stone fruit and peaches, bright effervescent, juicy fruit apricot too. Mild buttery oak, hint vinous white wine.
Taste is very sour, tart funk, very acidic tart, little Brett funk and souring bacteria, little lemony, light barnyard, onto big buttery oak, with chardonnay white wine vinous, tons of stone fruit, fresh tart peach, juicy apricot. Nice tart acidity and sour funk lingering, tart peach, buttery oak, etc lingering.
Mouth is med to lighter bod, nice acidity, good carb.
Overall quite nice, not as peachy as some of the other peach beers but nicely balanced and quite tasty.

Long time want here....
Great explosive peach nose with a touch of funk..very inviting
Starts with flavors of lemon and stone fruitiness, doesn't scream peach but it's pleasant.
Midway through the wine barrel shows strong, swallowing much of the fruits and laying a heavy oak and buttery Chardonnay finish.
The barrel here is distracting for me. It shows phlegmy and leaves a bit of a sickening finish on the fade.
A beer I'm very happy to have tried, and shows some nice flashes of fruit sourness, but the wine barrel, in my opinion, doesn't do this any favors. A pretty good, albeit flawed, sour.

Sour peach candy taste (maybe not as sweet). A bit of a strange acetic nose, tastes great though. Thanks, tom!!

Poured from a bottle into a tulip. Appears a beautiful dark yellow with a hint of orange. The head is thin and wispy, leaving a ring around the edge of the glass and a touch of lacing. The nose is oak, peach, funkiness and acidity. The taste starts off slightly sweet, but quickly disappears behind a complex wall of oak, white wine, apricots and peach. The finish begins fairly sour and fades to funkiness. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of my bottles.

This is an excellent offering from Jackie O's - one of the best I've had.
Pours a light orange with a fast fading white head. Nose is lovely assertive sweet lemon and peach skin. The mouth feel is really good being very well balanced, medium carbonation is inviting and it just makes you want to drink it. There is also the perfect "tart" character that may make this light sour/wild ale appealing for those who don't like sours or wild ales; but, let me be clear - it's sour.
Flavor profile is peachy, peach skin, (yeah....actually can taste the peach "fuzz" - really!) This is a very nice offering and likely one best fresh. I'd say the fresher the better to get that real layered peach flesh/peack skin, peach character.
