Brand new brewery for me. Cleat golden body with a white, wet head. Nose is heavy with malt, rye, and booze.
Blasting hops run in one direction amd boozy malted rye flies off in the other. This is harsh and way more difficult to drink than the nine percent suggests. This brewery certainly has the power, now they have to demonstrate that they have the control too.

12oz can poured into a snifter
Canned 12/21/16
Centennial
A- pours a pale golden straw color with a one finger foamy white head that has good retention and leaves some lacing behind
S- smells grainy up front, toasted malt. Light fruity hop notes, guava, mango, light hops overall
T- sweet, sugary & malty up front with bready notes, light tropical hop notes of mango and citrus, some pine. Sweet malty finish that lingers with a bit of booze
M- medium body and carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns into a creamy finish
O- previous versions of mandala that I've had have been delicious, but this was a malt bomb. I had to double check the canning date to make sure that it was only 6 weeks old
