As far as a Kolsch goes, this one is definitely "next level". As in it's own thing. Not really a traditional take on the style for sure, but highly enjoyable. Its clear, and pale gold in color. Big soapy white head. It is bursting with Citra and Mosaic hops aroma. Lots of mango, papaya/guava, and passion fruit. Very earthy/musty with a solid bitterness and a little bit of pine resin. Very light malt backbone. A light pale ale like body. Fairly crisp with ample carbonation.
