Shiny black with a faint purple hue and almost no head but for some creamy tan wisps.
Tons of fresh ground coffee comes out on the nose, and the palate as well, with a nice roast and a round, full body. This has possibly one of the best bodies in a Jackie O's stout to date. As the name indicates, blueberry is not a big deal but for a faint sweetness in the background, which is a good thing. There's a soft vanilla nougat accent over some frothy cocoa as it finishes semi-dry to dry.
The smell features a little more blueberry than the taste, but only as an accent, as the aroma is kind of muted aside from the coffee.
