Can dated 4-17-18. Hefeweizen glass.
A: pours a reddish dark amber with nearly three fingers of off-white head and carbonation blasting away. Is it my imagination or is the head just a little pink? Decent lacing.
S: raspberries are definitely there. Smells a little sickly-sweet. Surprisingly, not getting a whole lot of wheaty/grain smell.
T: to my great pleasure, this is not very sweet on the arrival. Umm, I do not like this. Something just tastes wrong. Medicinal, foul. Berry and hops are not playing nice together.
M: perhaps the one salvation of this beer; a really pleasant smooth and effervescent texture - better even than the Hefeweizen I had a couple of nights ago, cleaner.
O: I am not a huge fan of fruit beers generally. But last summer I had Abita’s purple haze, and was pleasantly surprised. It was slightly fruity and refreshing. This is not. I see it selling around here, but the interplay of raspberry and hops just isn’t doing it for me. Inharmonious. I am not going to finish it.

Was hoping for a little more raspberry flavor but overall was not bad. Would purchase again.

L: Pinkish color. Good head and lace. Hazy.
S: Sour raspberry with a wheat backbone. As advertised.
F: Foamy and creamy. Bright bitter at the end.
T: Raspberry tart and a wheat base beer. Sour more than sweet.
O: It's a tasty Saturday afternoon beer in the summer. Drink this first after your yard work then switch to other beers.

Cloudy, reddish amber appearance with an average size white head and good lacing. Guess it's no surprise that the aroma has a distinct raspberry and wheat quality. Wheaty, grainy taste, still showcasing the raspberries along with some tartness. Modestly spiced aftertaste. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish. Overall, the nose tells you all you need to know about this style without needing to take a sip.

Really pronounced Rasberry in aroma and taste, but not overly sweet. Really nice beer.
