Love it, love it, love it. Piney, hazy, refreshing, yummy, light, heavenly. I'm told this is a limited release...they should go year round on this top notch beverage.

12 FL. OZ. can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours turbid with a pineapple juice looking appearance. It is topped with a couple inches of white head that leaves some decent lacing.

The smell is citrus and tropical fruit. I also get some light cracker aroma from the malt.

The taste is juicy with citrus fruit. I get some grapefruit in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel

This is a real tasty beverage. I can see drinking a six pack on a warm summer day or a cool fall day.

12oz can, canned on 09/17/18. Served in a tulip glass.

Appearance: Cloudy/translucent pale gold with an initial thick white head that died back to a thick ring. Plenty of persistent lacing all over the glass.

Smell: Orange, lemon, tropical fruit. While the can says simcoe is present in this beer, I'm not smelling that classic simcoe pungent aroma. But it's still very nice.

Taste: Wonderfully hoppy with loads of citrus (orange, lemon, grapefruit) and tropical fruit. Bready malt underneath with just right sweetness to compliment all of citrus and tropical fruit flavors. The finish is citrus rind and grapefruit with just a bit of bergamot. Wonderful tasting beer.

Mouthfeel: Very good thickness and quite smooth. Just right carbonation. A bit of a spicy and dry finish.

Overall / Drinkability: What a great beer. I wish I had bought a full six pack of this rather than just a single. I easily could have another. Great flavor, great aroma, and it doesn't wear out your senses. A very well crafted IPA.

Opaque burnt yellow with a tall off white foam leaving tons of spongy coral lace.

Smell is peppery grapefruit, juicy tangelo, spicy but light cannabis and Spree.

Taste is tangy tangerine-grapefruit with accents of allium and cannabis and a touch of toasted cracker.

A light, soft froth lifts a medium-light body before a semi-dry finish.

Their best swing at the NEIPA yet.

Canned on 9/7/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy yellowish golden; fluffy eggshell white head that slowly falls leaving great retention and nice lacing. The aromas have a subtle blend of tropical and citrus fruit. Some floral notes. Some bread. Malts are there. The flavors are refreshing. Some pineapple, lemon and grapefruit. Some fresh grass. Moderate bitterness. Solid hop flavors. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy for the most part. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's fluffy, sharp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid "New England IPA". It might not be anything super crazy, but it's enjoyable and well crafted. It's more or less what you would expect from a "New England IPA". Not bad at all.

Pours golden with a white head, that btw leaves a great lacing. Nose is citrus and nothing less. Taste attacks the palate with citrus and bitterness. Great beer.

Description: Appearance is hazy and light golden in color with a minimal amount of white head and lacing. Smell is fruity, with orange (mandarin? blood orange?), grapefruit and peach. A general amalgamation of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste follows the smell with the noticeable addition of melon, watermelon. The finish has some bitterness from the grapefruit but this only serves to add balance. Feel is smooth and on the thick side for an IPA. Low carbonation.

Overall: 4 (This beer is good and I may or may not have it again) An interesting flavor profile with all the fruits blending together in way that none really overpower the others. It's a "good-not-great" IPA but doesn't have anything not to like.

Canned 9/10/18

It is very cloudy/hazy yellow gold with a moderate egg white foamy head.

It smells fairly sweet with yeasty dough, passion fruit, berry, mango, and honeydew melon.

The flavor is bursting pretty well with the same tasting fruits and enough musty/earthiness and subtle bitterness to stomp out the overly sweet malt. A little bit of prickly bite on the end with a lingering floral and orange-mango.

Soft and pillowy body with just a slight carbonated like crispness and a ripe fruit like twinge.

This is a solid example of a NE IPA that reminds me of the original Trillium stuff when bitterness could be perceived. Before this style all got very chalky, with a yeast bite that burns your throat and nostrils, or turned into mimosas. I actually went into this purchase based on the description and picture online thinking it was not a NE style, or I wouldn’t have bought it, but I don’t regret the mistake.

Dripping with all the juicy goodness that Citra, Comet and Simcoe hops can muster, Jackie O's brewers slather these powerful cones on a New England styled IPA.

Turbid in its haze, the goldenrod See Foam releases a tall column of eggshell froth with impressive lacing. As its radiant perfume rolls onto the nose, a procession of citronella, herbal and grassy scents alternate with zest and zeal. Sweet to taste, a pastry rich early palate adds a malty buffer of angel food cake, light honey and cereal on the front of the tongue.

With the malt sweetness and starchy richness holding firm, the hops make a grand introduction with a burst of tangy, under ripened oranges, a pep of lemon and lime along with an emboldened white grapefruit impression. As the ale shows a slight semblance of drying, the juiciness of citrus turns to fruit rinds, a spicy bitterness and a sharp pine flavor to evoke a sensation of green tea and gin.

Medium bodied throughout, the beer's rich malt underpinnings ride into a bready, creamy and rich finish with a citrusy bitter balance, and little more. A medium long aftertaste continues with the spice of gin and macerated fruit peels for a refreshing, clean and smooth session overall.
