Pours a bit thin, but it's pitch black, and creates a massive tan head, and one that takes off it's coat and stays a while. Eventually it does fall to a thin cap, but leaves behind fantastic lacing, reminding you what the head once was. Even held up to direct light, nothing penetrates this brew. Fantastic. I get a lot of Coffee, but with little bitterness. I find caramel sweetness, and a strong, but hidden, malt backbone that leaves you with a nose that is neither bitter or sweet.

Flavor is all coffee, all the time. Once swallowed, you get a brief spike on alcohol, but that is quickly overwhelmed by a wave of bitterness created by a strong coffee and malt flavor. Finish ends with a slightly sweet caramel and dark chocolate notes. This one coats the brew with a strong black coffee flavor that lasts for some time.

Mouthfeel is medium heavy. It's not what I'd call thick, but it's heavier than most porters out there. Combined with light carbonation, and you get an easy drinking beer, even at 72 degrees. It goes down velvety smooth outside of the one ABV spike. It's not a perfect stout, but it is one I could drink every day.

Pretty thick looking and very close to black, this could pass as either beer or cold-brewed coffee. The tan head is tight, about exactly one finger tall. It keeps itself together nicely and for the duration, leaving ample evidence of itself on the walls of the glass until the end.
Loads of coffee make the aroma, but it's no one-trick pony, so to speak. This stout has a big, robust malts base to put it on. It features notes of bittersweet baker's chocolate, and the coffee is as fresh as I've ever smelled in a beer like this.
It tastes more like fresh cold-brewed coffee than all except one coffee stout I've ever had. Roast from malts play with it so that it could easily be the coffee itself. Deep, rich cocoa notes come out without pushing. There's a certain creaminess in the flavor, too.
Carbonation is low but well-played, as no more is needed than what's given. The body is full and pretty rich. It's got crispness but the focus is appropriately aimed more toward smoothness.

Served on tap in a can glass. Appears a deep brown color with a thin tan head. The nose is loaded with roasted malts, touches of caramel and blasts of coffee. The taste follows suite with a touch of sweetness up front followed by coffee and the dark roastiness. The coffee takes over the finish and lingers. Overall, this is exactly what you should expect from a beer of this name.

Pours out dark with a khaki tan head.

Aroma starts off with roasted, black coffee, espresso, hints of vanilla and caramel and some really roasty malt notes.

Taste is also very coffee forward. Somewhere between black coffee and espresso. Vanilla, caramel, toffee, some bittersweet chocolate, definite charred, roasted malt notes finish everything.

Medium-full with a creamy mouthfeel.

Lots of flavor, not a ton of alcohol and really balanced! Glad it's in a can! May The Coffee Be With You!
