Dark mahogany brown with a short tan blanket leaving a persistent creamy film at the surface.
Wow, this is the best Brick Kiln I've had, and I'm not usually a fan of Apple Brandy barrel aged beers.
This exhibits that totally distinct brown sugar brueleed oatmeal with sweet caramel and maple glaze. All that fills the middle, end and aftertaste, but lingers delectably. Up front is the predictable sting of woody dry oak, bourbon, and dark fruits. The exhale becomes a little smoky as it warms.
The medium body has a crisp fizz that silkens out somehow, providing a little heft before the semi-sticky finish.
