Notes:
A vibrant blend of American oak ages sour ales and saisons in collaboration with Little Fish Brewery company. Notes of ripe fruit, citrus peel, and herbaceousness.

Chill hazed but quickly clearing up to burnt gold with a short off-white head that fizzles out quickly to a faintly sparkling clear surface.
Crisply effervescent and sour, this exhibits a little stonefruit funk and pear with a mild oak that is a little spicy and prickly with a touch of brighter citrus.
Still, it's not as refined, complex or balanced as something like a Jester King saison, and in particular its acidity is more potent than I would like.

16.9 ounce bottle, 2019 vintage. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a slightly hazy dark gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention is decent, with a small amount of lacing. The brew smells like apricot, white grapes, bready malt, earthiness and some tropical fruit. Taste is similar to the aroma, with apricot, citrus peel, bready malt, white grape, oak, peach and earthy flavors noticeable. Good amount of tartness. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's refreshing and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good sour/saison blend, certainly worth picking up if you're into sour ales!
